    Army thread Monday 21st February

    Morning slackers!

    it's the start of a new week! Out of bed and off to work with you all (with honourable exceptions made for Mario and Chilly of course)! Soon be March and then spring is on the way.

    Did the 100+ mile round trip to make a rare visit my mother yesterday and got home in the small hours. She had me uprooting large shrubs in the garden, fixing problems on her c:, making adjustments to the furniture, and so on. I'm back home for a hard-earned rest, though she did send me off with lots of food goodies, so I've been STUFFING myself overnight! Poppy the cat is sticking her bum in my face again this morning and it absolutely STINKS! I'm sure she's left a "present" somewhere, though I haven't found it yet. And on that smelly note I shall bid you all a happy week.

    (Apologies to stirly for the bum reference...)

    Why was everyone so tongue-tied yesterday?

    Yes well. Monday again, is it? I couldn't believe it when the alarm went off this morning. It was soooooooooooo good to sleep in my own bed again.

    I have a fairly busy day ahead, but will try and show my face and catch up with what everyone has been up to.

            Hello Recluse,Zen and Tips.

            Off to a better start today. Felt yuk all day Sunday.

            So glad you had a good sleep tips.

            Zen I never imagined you playing golf.

            Good for you Wrecky doing good works for your Mum. I miss my cats but not that early morning bum in my face.

            Have a great monday . I am off for a run in a bit with 2 young men Lucky me.

                  I'm actually glad it's Monday! We had a very grey and rainy weekend. A bit blah. Of course today the sun is peeking through the clouds and it looks like it might turn into a pretty nice day. So Happy Monday everyone!

                      :wavin: Ex-patty. We had a grey and rainy weekend as well. The sun did manage to poke his head through at one point and this was what we saw from our window. If you look closely, you can see that it's a double rainbow...

                          Grrrrrrrr... it's going to be a looooooooooooooooong day... Remind me not to be out of the office for too long. I've had a constant stream of people at my desk.

                          Can't they leave me the fusk alone? I'll try to scowl for the rest of the day. Maybe I'm looking friendly and approachable?

                              Morning recluse tipps stirly anon xpat and sleepy Zenners. Just a quick hello - have to head off and get quotes for carpets - tank burst in the attic last week place is a mess. I hate going back to work after being off Tipps, even in my humble little job shit really builds up and I'm usually cranky by 10AM! Talk later
