Hey All,

Friday night? This quiet?

I've just been out to dinner with husband and son at a local restaurant. The restaurant is in the most unusual place, in one of these suburban shopping centres. But the food is excellent, home cooked, 5 star. I rarely eat puddings but tonight I had bread and butter pudding with custard and it brought tears to my eyes. It really brought back childhood memories. Son has been trying to piece together memories of living in the UK, so all in all a good but slightly emotional evening.

Best of all it was a BYO restaurant and I didn't.

Posting here is good Reggie. When people notice that something is a little off and wonder if you're okay, it's out of concern. Lots of people here caring loads and loads for the other members. Stick around. Maybe talking about things would help. Dont forget that with a couple of exceptions, you are totally anonymous here. Only those whom you've met for coffee or whom you may have given your real name to, know who you are. So there is no reason not to feel safe. You can come on here and say what you want whether it's for lighthearted banter or to complain or vent or share something good. As for the drinking, don't give up, you'll get it right eventually.

Sorry Reg, the name is not going back. Spam was arguementative(sp?) and obnoxious. I am a leopard that is going to change her spots. Spam was a nickanme from when I was about 5. Charlotte (ask your daughter) is an intelligent spider who looks forward and plans. But that's what Missy B told me, I can't claim that for myself.

But you can call me Spammy / Spam if you want to.
