    Army Thread 23rd March

    A very good morning to everyone round the world.
    I have no money(well, I actually have 10p)
    I have a right wrist in plaster, and wires in my arm that are beginning to hurt and itch.
    I am selling my house of 11 yrs due to my excess spending on booze
    My toilet flush just broke
    I'm not getting enough sleep
    I am unemployed
    I owe money to sooo many places

    I am 2 and a half weeks sober. And I have woken with a smile on my face. Im happy. I'm dealing with it. I will continue my plan of action tdy. Baby steps. Things will get better over time. Today, I am not ashamed, angry or do I hate myself. I am cy. I am an alcoholic. But other than that I'm just me.
    I have MWO, and I have friends and family to support me all the way.
    Life ain't so bad you know!

      Cy, that's a lovely lovely post - You've put a smile on my face too. Great to be able to see through the daily grind sometimes and see the really important things - good on ya

        Brilliant post it says it all. I hope all the stuff in the first part of the post works out soon. But so happy for you in your sobrierty. Is the sun shining in Wales?

          No. It's pretty cold this morning. But went to get the paper and it smelt like spring, if you know what I mean. Which was nice!

            Gorgeous morning here in Dubbers!! Still amazes me how many wasted hours there used to be with hangovers - love this time of the day now!

              Me too. I love getting up early, and seem to be functioning well off 5-6 hrs sleep.

                Lots of positive posts this morning! It's sunny here too. Gorgeous day predicted. I don't work but I have to run around doing "kid stuff" today. Speech therapy this morning for my son and then a casting call with my daughter in Paris this afternoon. Need to clean the house too:upset:. A parent's work never ends. But I'm happy!
