Sorry I have not been keeping up it is very busy at end of school year and work and homework...I found my biological father on mylife last night. He had some relatives listed so I found one on fb who has a son looks just like me so sent her a message and now we fb friends and it is overwhelming...she sent me a pic of my dad ...i had never seen him before and then a million photos to root through on her fb page more relatives I didnt know I had and wel.....T ...stop by on your way if you want......b

Hubs has been slamming away with his supersonic hammer since the crack of early. Already been to Lowes and remodelled a closet (which i had to empty for him, now put it all back) and now I'm emptying the BIG one under the stairs, and it's full! That's also our storm shelter, but after this week with rethinking that, since with the storms that came through nothing above ground coould survive. SO, guess we're planning one for underground. May only need it once in a lifetime, but that's enough.
Hope to start in the yard tomorrow, weather is gorgeous now.
Good to see some folks back, we've missed you. Remember, there's never a reason not to come and tell us what's going on. This is more than a daily diary, you know. It's a help line.
Oh, and Sun, I'm feeling my years today already!! :H

Good morning family! I had such a good time going to the nursury, getting some plants yesterday. I always look for the sickest plants, so I can get them at half price. I can always bring them back to life by repotting and nurturing. I got all the plants done around the pool and some of my patio, but I've got two more plants that need to be made into 10 so I can give them away, so that's my plan for the day. It's absolutely georgous outside, a little windy, but oh, so sunny!
Well, I see Ruby and Sunny are up to their usual hysterical selves! Fluff, so sorry you had to get up so early, but I am sure you enjoyed the game. My daughter has severe allergies and she stays sick alot, too. Roger, you cannot leave us because you are irritable. That's when you need to vent to us. We love you and understand. None of us are perfect and we certainly don't expect you to be, although you do come close! Ruby, bless your kind, loving heart to offer a get-away for our beloved! Ruby, glad you're cleaning out your storm shelter. I feel very safe in my storm shelter closet and I have battery powered radio and lights and of course, lots of blankets in there. Bird, that is wonderful news that you found some of your family. It made me cry just hearing you talk about it. Fen, did you get your Mother moved to the nursing home yesterday? I hope she recovers quickly. Hill, so glad your meeting went well. Quittin, sorry you had a relapse, but you got right back up and started again, so that's what's important. Don't ever be embarrassed to tell us anything, because we, better than anyone, completely understand and are rooting for you! I need to call and check on Grateful. She is really going through a rough time, so let's all pray for her. She is so loving and kind. I will check back in and report after I talk with her. I hope everyone has a glorious, beautiful day! Ruby, you were talking about antiques the other day and I took some pics of some I have. I'm not sure which is antiques or just old, but the pie cabinet is 150 years old! Paul's parents were missionairies in Haiti for 20 years and brought back a ton of stuff made in Haiti that is interesting. I created an album, so I hope this will bring up all the pics.

Wow, bird...that's wild about your dad! How are you feeling about it? Are you going to see him or talk with him? I don't know your story at all...:h

Vick, my mom is stuck in the hospital until Wednesday or Tuesday. She's retaining fluid again, plus the thrush she has in her throat may have spread to her esophagus. For anybody who needs a little help quitting cigs, come on up and pay a visit to my mum. She's been cooped up in the hospital for over two weeks!

Met the chimney inspector at the cabin yesterday. The stove and chimney check out A okay! I found tons of deer vertebrae that I'm going to make mobiles out of and hang around the rock out cropping. I'm thinking of using the wood ticks I picked off of myself as art, too. Maybe I'll cover them with resin and turn them into jewelry...or place them in cute little displays where they're performing tasks like ironing, chopping wood, etc. I'm open to ideas, folks! :H

I say frame the ticks fenn. Or shellac them and make a necklace...the other day I found a mouse skull at work..I glued it to a little piece of wood and made some horns for it out of aluminum. Now it looks like a longhorn...hahahah...well Ive found out I have a brother and 2 sisters..one of them has 9 kids...no plans on seeing them since they live too far...kids have someone over tonight and are eating pizza and watching movie..later

Hallo all - I think you all all slightly odd - making things out of tics!!! And mouse skulls! Obviously I am totally normal!!!

It didn't rain so far today - I went to work and got home from work dry! It was so good to be on my bike again!

I have been talking to Swannie - poor love must be bored out of her mind being out of commission for so long - it would drive me insane! Hope you get better as quickly as possible Swannie - just sit and post all day!!! LOL

Fen - I am so sorry that your mom is still in the hospital - I do hear what you say about the smoking........I really will quit - my mum is visiting soon and I MUST quit before she comes - Greg (store manager) said he will tell her I have been smoking. LOL. Glad the chimney checked out okay at your cabin.

Vicki - lovely to hear from you - I had fun at the nursery too - bought some new plants - this time got some native plants and am trying those for a change. I am off tomorrow and plan on plating the rest of it doesn't rain tonight or tomorrow - it is supposed to rain (50% chance) or the ground will be too wet - STILL.
