Just did something I never do and that is watch daytime DVD. The King's Speech. Excellent!
I think daytime DVD is vastly under-rated. Whenever I get sick it is my favorite thing to do to treat myself. And The Kings Speech is a cracker.

(Haaaaahhh! iPads do lots of auto-corrections of spelling and grammer, which often pisses me off when it gets things wrong. I just noticed that they haven't yet managed to get the possessive apostrophe - as in Kings - sorted yet!!)

TF - you were also reading Stephen Fry. Have you finished? I downloaded it onto audiobok the day before you said that you had bought it ... An I've had a virus of some kind since yesterday and have been lying in bed listening to it. I'm loving it .... His command of language is amazing although his overuse of alliteration is sometimes a bit much ( eg "a complete canteen of comic cutlery")

Beags - I thought of you when I heard about the ash. NZ is doing it's bit in the quest to get you to Melbourne and we are mopping up the rremains of the plume by a wind that is heading our way :H

Which reminds me, Mr B took Dougal back to SPCA this morning. The house is very quiet without him!! I had some quality time with him before he left playing "iPad games for cats" :H:H (yes they truly exist!!)

Sapphy - can't believe you are out on your bike in the weather you are having!! It just bears out my belief that I have got to stop being a wuss and challenge my worries about what my body can cope with :thanks:
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

I also know that raised beds are better esp if you,ve got crap clay soils like you prolly have.
Better for soil health, drainage, workability.
Gee, I typed a reply to this, hit enter and my computer died!
I've just surfed the web for a few ideas, and have heaps of books, so don't quite know why I was asking the question. Lack of self confidence probably, as I have to come up with a couple of ideas for the place at Wingello so we can start digging it out in spring/summer. I've also got 2 of Clives books.... growing heirloom veggies and The Aust veggie garden.

                Also from sixth grade:

Thor comes down from the heavens and as god's do heads to a singles bar and picks up a chick - who happens to have a lisp - and after a night of passion, he decides to let her know who he truly is. So as she comes back into the room from the bathroom he says "Woman I'll have you know I am Thor!" and she replies "Your thaw, I'm tho thaw I cant even pith"

I didnt get it in grade 6

Today's daytime DVD was "Brothers". Excellent anti-war movie.

Missy - agree re Fry's alliteration overload but but but ... I had NO IDEA he was gay. ***sobs ***

Question - are we banning MC?

Just read in a paper today that Marion - evictee season 2 - is about to release her cookbook. It looks more interesting than Adam's - winner season 2.

... oh, and furthermore ... I'm terribly upset that I typed "wereth" instead of "whereth" in a previous post. I'm totally afeared of the apostrophe, grammer and spelling nazis.
