Actually, 700 euros is one heck of a fine for jumping a red light. It's more than my old banger is worth.

Found the number of the woman who helped me find the Action for Children work and also stands reference for me.
One of the jobs actually urges ex-alkies to apply. Now there's something I've never seen before.
Actually, the place where I go also encourages former service users to apply and it makes a whole lot of sense to me.

Can you tell me what recipe you use for kofta meatballs? You put ideas into my head the other day - or was it yesterday? There seem to be about a million different versions of the recipe.

Stirly, I am really sorry. Especially that you'll lose some of your "me"" time if you have to go into work everyday. Driving Mr. S.

I'm speechless. You must have been so angry and frustrated.
InChains;1163447 wrote: Damn Stirls that's awful - I may have to tell my other half that story though, I've seen him run a few red lights in his time and he's only been driving just over a year. You must be furious!
What kind of punishment have you got lined up for Mr Stirly? :bat :b&d:
Not frustrated but really pissed off. Luckily we have a small truck for the business, otherwise we'd have to use my little car and you can't put more than a couple of medium-size boxes in the trunk. How the heck are we supposed to take orders to customers when they order 4 huge boxes of protective masks or 6 big boxes of packaging tape in a car that small?
And I absolutely detest driving him anywhere. I have only ever driven him back from an operation in 1985 and to the hospital last September when he was having a heart attack and both times he complained all the time. In September, I was swerving the car a little to avoid man-hole covers since they're not level with the pavement and I was trying to make the ride as smooth as possible because he said that he could feel every little bump, and he started telling me what a bad driver I was because the car was swaying back and forth a little. This while he was having a heart attack and I was trying to get him to the hospital as smoothly and as quickly as possible.
Anyway, enough of a rant for today. Am off to walk Freddo-doggie and to read a good book to take my mind off of things.
Wishing you all
and Nighty-nite...
P.S. You guys ROCK!!!:For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.
AF since 10/10/2015:yay:
