Thanks for all your good wishes. I've just woken up from a long nanna nap but still feeling somewhat "woozy". Good thing I was home. School phoned to tell me that eldest cub had fallen ill. Even though we live close by, they may not go home unaccompanied during school hours. Mts. T took the youngest and some classmates to an Eistedd... Oh hell... spelling sucks... some sort of music thingy. Should be back soon. Man flu doesn't excuse me from dinner duty, though :upset: Plus we can't let standards slip :H

Starty - you're a strong woman, and very level headed. Keep plugging away with the job search, but try not to be too impatient. It can take a little while.

Molly - yep, it's dreadful having your card compromised. Happened to me a couple of years ago. Absolutely the last thing you needed at the moment, what with all the other things going on in your life.

Cassia - it's absolutely horrible having a colleague like that. I once had a boss who set out to make my life a misery - was so pleased when he got the sack after 18 months. Good to hear your cat and husband will be joining you soon. It costs an absolute fortune to transport a cat by plane doesn't it? I believe it's more expensive than transporting a person.

Tippers - hope you're feeling a bit better today.

Zenny - hope your foot is better too. What did you do to it?

And poor old Jackie with the girly flu :l

Did I say one or two people having a shite time? That's nearly half the barracks!

Apologies to anyone I've missed (memory like a sieve). Hope everyone else is having a great day, especially the birthday girl!

Feeling muchos better, next time I do the wingey ooh I've got a cold thing tell me to take the Vit C, a great big glass of water, 2 paracetamol and stand in a hot shower for 15 minutes.

I'm feeling half human now.

Yep, it's a good time to be a Liverpool supporter isn't it? It's been a long time since I've looked forward to matchdays so much.

Well today has been a MUCH better day. The clients have spoiled me rotten. Boss is still a wanker but hey ho. Also I have applied for yet another fecking job

I'm feeling loads better even got meself into the kitchen to make some banana bread and some cheese scones.

I'm taking them to 'work' tomorrow. I offered, they said yes.

It will be the start of something good JC. Every experience we have gives us something.

I finish in about 3 weeks recciebear. Sooner if I can. Got to speak to boss first.

The jobs I am applying for are in the financial sector in IT or similar.

It's just I miss baking so much that I thought ooh goody I can let me inner domestic goddess run riot on them.

Of course I should be doing much more important things like reading the training manual and filling in the CRB check but I'll do it later.
