      Gosh...it's quiet here today!

      The weather is just like fall...getting down to the forties at night. Great sleeping weather. I guess I'll toddle over to Nora's place for some breakfast...

        Thanks Ruby--you did not hijack at all! I am faced with knowing I will feel guilty when they pass but not sure how to rectify it. My mom is not changing at all and she just cannot help herself with the comments etc. They hurt so much. I also found out that she changed their wills to make my sister who is a sweet girl but likely the most disorganized person in the world their executor and power of attorney. I don't care about the money or stuff they have but sort of like you-- I have always been the one to care for them and take care of business-- and I am sure I will be doing it when they are not here--but doing it all for my sister who they are designating as the one who is supposed to do it (just to hurt me). Oh well-- I will have to ponder that a little more I suppose. Keeping on with the diet-- I may have to go extreme on it at my age now! Hope you all have a good day!

          Morning

          Good morning everyone, it is still raining here. SIGH. I go back to work tomorrow 1-8 pm we go back to fall hours, summer was1-6. I didn't get much done yesterday everyone was home, probably will be again today. Dog still won't go outside because of the rain. Anyone want a Morkey? JK. Ruby sorry to hear that your brother Has/is being such a jerk ( we should all go kick his ass!). JK. Well I guess it's pretty evident that my bad mood hasn't left me yet, it's probably the rain......             Thanks, Georgie, ATL, for the sweet words. It took a long time, a lot of tears and pain, for the truth to start to come out. What I've discovered is I have no illusions about myself, and what happened is history. My parents, especially my Daddy, KNEW what and who their children were. And I've also realized they KNEW I was taken care of and took care of myself, needed less in the way of money from them. Even my aunt's place I'm trying to buy was something she wanted most in the world for me to have, but also knew her son would need the money and I would be fair to him, and cherish, preserve, the old homeplace. Georgie, I believe his butt needs a good kicking! At a recent family funeral, I had so many people come and ask me questions about why he seemed to have everything from my parents, and I just told them to ask him, not me, since I don't gossip! Again, we need to understand that other people's guilt and unhappy lives make them lash out at others they see as happy and successful. And I wish I could make myself try to sell my paintings; my insecurities keep me from it, unless someone specifically orders my specialty - house portraits. I use old pictures of houses that have meaning to them and paint, frame them so they can keep a memory. Lost count of how many I've done. One lady had 10 brothers and sisters and ordered one for each of them. MAN was I sick of that little millhouse when I finished!! :H
            Chilly enough for some thick blankets here last night, which is a great change. I'm keeping Texas in my prayers. They desperately need rain for the drought and awful fires. 700+ houses destroyed already.
            Fen, Sun, T, hope you have a great day. Has anyone had recent word from Vicki, Tony, Grateful, or Swanny?
            The dogs and I played with Ninny yesterday and I videoed some of it, will try to load some on here. She's hilarious!

                    Enjoy your day, MB. But don't laze around! Do things YOU have been wanting to do, that will make myou feel better when you come home. It could be copying DVDs, sorting your shoes, changing your sheets - whatever. Don't worry who else notices what you've done!! I took off lots of yesterday, and Hubs had bologna sanwiches last night (OH, the were all decked out, with chips!). He USED to love bologna, but last night I guess my gourmet influence kicked in, and after the 1 and half he ate, he shuddered and said 'don't take me back in time again!!' So I guess the dogs will get lots of 'baloney'!! Making shrimp Po Boys tonight. He's lost without food.
                    Ya'll don't shoot me, but I blew off another doc appt this morning. Had too many other things pressing me. I called, and will reshedule. I'm SO far behind on my check-ups, but will get it all done, with my daughter, as soon as I can. Only worried a bit by my erratic heartbeat. But I'm healthy, walking, staying super busy.
                    Hubs is on vacation this week (It's a blessing and a curse!) so I'm working on posting pics of his fantastic work. Just got a call from the woman who PROMISED she wanted one house, then I couldn't reach her and I called her contacts. No sale. But showing it today at 3:30, sounds hopeful, and she also referred the elderly couple for the one available next month.
                    SO, I have house showings today, plus my usual 'GAWD his place is a mess' stuff, then have 4+ guests for dinner tomorrow night to settle all our offers, etc, on land and houses. Sure hope Vicki and Grate are ready for a vacation in 3 weeks, because I am!!
                    Still working on the Ninny uploads. Oh, and between Tinker and her skwerl nemisis, I mad go crazier than before!!!! :H

                        Sorry Rubes, but I want to laze around.
                        Saturday we did the familuy reunion at Dad's...Bret, Clay and I ran around and served all day, then cleaned....Mom made one of her nasty comments, so we quietly left...exhausted.
                        Then off to the lake house on Sunday/Monday. We are painting the exterior of the house, pluse mowing two acres, cooking,etc. SO I am gosh darned tired and my house is a wreck. I am doing laundry now and will prolly iron a little later......after a nana nap!!

                          MB, as I've told others, it hurts - big time- but it's HER problem. We have to know who WE are, and love ourselves. And as I also said, I'm at peace with the dirty deeds of others in my family.
