Blimey tippers, for someone who's second language is English, you constantly amaze me. Now, talking about (not so) scaredy cats, I came across this one this afternoon. Isn't he/she beautiful?tiptronic_ct;1187672 wrote: Hail fellows, well met

Well... my laptop... this is quite embarrassing but I had no idea that you could switch the screen off using the Fn and F4 buttons. I should imagine there was a bit of feline intelligence at play for it to be turned off. My poor neighbour drove all the way home from work, tried it on the monitor (nowt), spotted the buttons and hey presto!
LMAO!!!I'll do whatever it takes

Hiya Troopers. Just now saw this after reading the others' posts about it....Brilliant photograph - thanks Reccie...:happyheart: We have a zoo just a few kilometres from here and it's fantastic because you are literally no further away than a couple of metres from the chain-link enclosures and sometimes when the animals pace next to the fence - you can almost reach out and touch them. I love it there. Here are a couple of pictures. Mind you they aren't all that good since the animals aren't looking at the camera, but it gives you the idea of how close you are to them on the path around the pens.JackieClaire;1187195 wrote: Midnight lurking begins.
Firstly think I need new glasses as I've ignored an envelope all day as I thought it was addressed to the son and heir ,but no, it was for moi.
I've got my Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check back and I'm cleared to work with vulnerable adults.
Another happy dance to end the day.
Jackie that's fabulous news!!!:goodjob:
Probably the part about them bashing each other over the head with beer steins. Mind you, less incidents than last year. I wonder where the most damage was done. To their "bonces" or to the beer mugs?KTAB;1187662 wrote: Dunno why but this made me smile.

And we have a couple of white tigers, which are very rare. I believe the one was actually born at the zoo.

And we saw Daddy gorilla perched up on this pole. The youngsters were running around the pen like crazy squealing and making and un-dawgly riot and I guess this was the only place he had to go to get away from all the fuss. He was about 20 feet off the ground...
