saphy yes that is my grumpy visage a-top the horse!
out to have my cup of tea x 2 on the back patio where my little Lentl is buried - i do this every morning. until the dogs pile on top of me.

Goodness me, I go away for a day or two, thinking "its all been a bit quiet", I wont miss out on much, and all sorts of stuff happens in my absence

Happy - I have slave labour at my house for the week before Xmas!! A very good friend's teenager caused some mayhem and damage two weeks ago and now has to earn money to pay off the reperations. I have on the "To Do" list water-blasting the deck, cleaning windows inside and out, cleaning the fridge and the inside of all the drawers that the pots and pans are in, and making up the beds for my Xmas visitors to hotel standard. It was sort of a"prank gone wrong" situation, but her mum (my friend) wants to come down hard on it to make sure it never happens again

I always pass on TFs recommendations to Mr B. Usually he tells me that he has already downloaded it. But this one sent him scurrying to whatever site he downloads them from!!

Oh FFS sake Tawny ....... not only will you outlast your wood, you will probably be running the old farts home and agitating for residents rights:l BTW - the woman that does this at my mum's rest home (aged 92!) has had an amazing response - in the time that Mum has been there, and as a result of this woman's agitation, they now have chooks, the residents choose the menu a month in advance in consultation with the kitchen staff, and the resident's committee organised for all the local candidates in the election to come in the week before the election. I went to the Rest Home Xmas party yesterday and had tears at at lovely it was.

Had sushi last night for dinner. I told hubs I don't want to go there again until after the baby is born. I can't eat any of the beautiful fish which is what I love about sushi.
Sunny - always love your posts! You can manage okay with out sushi!! I haven't had coffee for about 4 weeks now and think I may never have it again, but every now and then I catch the smell of it and have an instant craving. Can you have cooked fish or smoked fish?? (never been pregnant myself, so don't know the details about this sorry!)

Glorious TF!! We have a nest of birds just outside our bedroom window, in the guttering. Have no idea which ones they are as we dont want to disturb them, but they sound like tuis. They are better then an alarm clock I have to say

Bridgee - have I ever told you that I am .25 away from being medically blind and I cant read small print and grey?? Thank goodness I can read you on the "reply to" thread!!

Its one of the reasons why I love Stirly's (and others!) large font and dark orchid posts:thanks:

I am going to join you'se girls on Monday. I've been okay on most things but want to ramp it up a bit.

In this - except I'll do my own exercising and gardening thanks very much!!

Feeling a little freaked out here - have had a succession of phone calls this morning asking if I am okay after the earthquake last night. I honestly didn't notice it , and while I had heard about it on the news, I hadn't paid much attention. But about 5 mins ago, on Facebook, one of my neighbours (about 400m away) says her kitchen is in a mess :upset:

well, the good thing is that I just went though our emergency kit last night and took out all the stuff that is past its use - by date and replaced everything! I feel pretty safe at home. Would rather be here than at work, which in in the middle of a very un-safe zone!

When is it going to be on?

Damn, I've forgotten how to multi quote.

Mr Rags has taken his lappy to see his dad while I am home houseworking (WHY do I ALWAYS leave it till the LAST MINUTE!!!). He is then going to employ his hight tech knowledge and link his dad and me via skype. So I have to go pretty myself up.
Off to tidy house and self.

My full stop stopped for a while too. I wonder when Mr G's apostrophe is going to cark it.
