Honestly Reggie, I think more people struggle with Christmas than actually admit it. We are definitely not alone. I am telling myself it is just another day and an excuse to relax totally and get some odd jobs done.

Mostly today I'll be finishing orff the cooking of various quiches, pies and cakes.

This aftie we'll be going up to my cousins for mince pies. We will swap our customary luvverly gifts with my little bruvver who in turn will give us 4 bottles of home made vodka for the 3rd year running (him having forgotten that I don't drink and can't see the harm in one at Chrimbo and also the stuff is probably lethal).

After which we shall return home umm and ahh at all the food and end up going to the Chinese for a take put.

Son and heir will be picked up from the station and deposited in whichever boozer his mates are and the daughter will be picked up from work.
