Ooh, I read that as Mrs A was planning to go nuclear, although I thought she already had. :goodjob:

It's kind of like MWO-but for smokers. Lots of information on the site so I plan on doing a lot of reading today. And making a plan! I am fed up with smoking but for me it's ten times more difficult to quit than the drinking. But I'm going to give it another go.
They even have threads like here on MWO. Haven't joined one yet. I'll probably just lurk a bit and try to get a feel of the place. I feel all shy as a newbie!:H
Good for you for trying expatty and best of luck quitting. Isn't life one long challenge?

Been doing some more catching up on sleep. Thought I'd caught up on it yesterday, but was wrong. Anyway, today's the day! Can't put off making a start on the dreaded tax return any longer. It's supposed to be in by the end of the month. :upset:

                    Afternoon Army

Back from a fab race. I can now eat 2 dinners:H

Lovely to hear about the fags Patty. I found it hard but like Foxy easier than the booze.

Hello Recluse still happy re Livepool result? What you did not hear on the news was that the MU fans wreked the toilets and ripped up loads of seats. Mr A was at the match and said some of the abuse was dreadful (both sets of fans)

                    Nice to see you Jan:h

                    Hiya Mario etc.--

Afnoon army, glad you enjoyed the race Anon, what was the weather like? It's very cold and wet here, not nice at all. Did you win?

I used to love running, didn't take it up till I was in my 30s, haven't done any for years, main,y cos I got fat and my knees hurt, but I am seriously thinking of starting again, got the couch to 5k programme so going to get started and I think my friend is going to do it with me so that will help.

I hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday :l

No did not win. Came 2nd so did not get the bottle of wine

Weather was very cold terrain muddy but I loved it.

I started off (running) thinking if I can run a mile I will be satisfied with that-- I love the fact that an alkie can be UK 38 in the rankings.

Still fighting the battle against booze though:thanks:

                          BUT WINNING:l

Wow you are 38 in the rankings that's fabulous! I hope you are very proud of yourself.

When I first started I could only get to the end of the road, but perseverance paid off, just like with the booze, one step at a time! Running with hangovers wasn't much fun either and I did that quite often! I never did a marathon - only a few halfs - I loved them.

You have got me inspired now, I am going to give it a go. I'll keep you posted!
