I finished The Hunger Games last night and slept like poo.

Oldest son is sick now.....and I don't have the funds for the doctor and meds....so I guess he'll be calling Nana.....sigh......it gets embarrasing, but I have accepted it is what is it and try not to stress.
It poured here last night, but we need more.

Jan, his grandmother likes nothing better than caring for her young. I know it's hard for you, but she sounds like a remarkably Southern wonderful woman, and it will give her joy to help him. Some great people realize their time here is limited and want to do what they can for those they love.
I couldn't help but have a guilty laugh over the hairless, flattened, head. I hit a squirrel's tail (they're ALWAYS in the road) and he ran off without it. Daughter was with me and was horrified, but when she was learning to drive, she almost ran in a ditch to avoid a butterfly!
As far as the other threads, I don't even look at them. If they're that bad, flag them. We don't need dissention here, it's about helping, being available, looking out for those who are vulnerable right now since they're dropping their AL shield. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Added: It's SO quiet here today. Just talked to Mama B and she was at doc's with her her offspring. This weather is SO beautiful but a killer for any kinds of nasal problems. My yard is truly golden.
Did you know that no matter where you trap a cat in your house they can find a way out? Just ask Pow. She's been strutting and rubbing around here for hours. Slippery as a greased eel, too.
No one to play with all day. It's 3 EST.

I have been furiously cleaning. Nurse told me my smoking was what made my son sick and it pissed me ogg. That;s bull.....I smoke outside, I never smoke in the house and I never even see him.....then hubs picked a fight so I decicded to steer my pent up anxiety into cleaning. I am sitting for a bit as my bacl and feet hurt. Plus I have serious brain fog today and it's so frustrating......think I have the beginning of alzheimers??? ( just kidding....sort of)
I am ok...I chased hubs out to go do errands. Son is sleeping and I will make chili later.
Does anyone here taked melatonin? Is that what is making me so fuzzy?

I can't wake up!! Hubs shook me awake for the 20 minutes he was home and up, and I'm thinking I might dive back under the covers now. Gotta get these new meds regulated, feel like a zombie. Hey, Mas, T!! MB, not sure about the meds, but husbands are stress carriers. I was told that about smoking around my kids ages before it became chic to do, and they were never exposed, still same problems. Go whack at some weeds. I'm going to sleep.

I am tired too. One kid at the movies, neighbors driving their truck in and out of the ditch. They do that all the time, I guess it is their favorite pastime.
