        Both great posts, LOL. Let's just keep in mind that green beer makes for a really gross aftermath. I lIve in Wisconsin where EVERY occasion is an excuse to get wasted. I WILL NOT do it this weekend and I will love myself more for it on Monday.

          I know that I won't be drinking this weekend. Last year when I was modding (at this point last year failing modding) I still managed St. Pattys day sober and this year is going to be the same. I plan on going to the parade, but won't be buying beer or going to bars (I don't like when they are super packed which they are bound to be tomorrow). So I will be sober and I know that I won't be missing anything. I won't join those people who will drink all day and/or go crazy and get wasted. I love my hangover free mornings way too much to take it away. I know it will be really hard if not impossible to stop at one drink. Maybe after 2-3 but rather not find out so no AL for me today, tomorrow, or Sunday. Will be taking it ODAAT!
          I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

          Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

          Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

                Drifty - Funny you mentioned a sober St. Paddys day last year...same here...even though I drank EVERY other day of that week, for some reason I didn't drink THAT day...go figure!
