And :goodjob: on fixing it yourself. I once tried to fix my steam iron. When I opened it up, two pieces went flying out. One was a little spring. I found where the one piece went, but not the spring. Seems it was part of the thermostat thingey. When I plugged it in, it just kept getting hotter and hotter and wouldn't click off at the appropriate temperature so whenever I ironed, I kept having to plug it in and then unplug it, iron a bit and plug it back in again. Pain in the arse, specially since I don't like ironing in the first place.
One reason I have never shopped for anything on-line is because I don't want to give them my credit-card number.

:H:H
I don't have much better luck with vacuum cleaners either. Keep forgetting to empty the bag and change the filter. I've gone through several of those too.
And at least three washing machines. And as many electric stoves. I'm really not supposed to do housework and such.:catroll:

)A pastry shop opened next to our store a few months ago. You can't believe the smells that come wafting in when our door is open. Dawg, it's torture to not run next door and grab some kind of sweet.:upset: Their front display window looks something like this...
