ALL-ONE with GATORADE ??????? Geez jan - that is the weirdest thing I have ever heard of. it tastes really yummy with a banana and fruit juice - honest!!!!! Gatorade !!!! You need nutrition - you would get much more if you had it with the banana and fruit juice.......... So sorry you are now feeling down - maybe it is catching..... I am around if you feel like calling. Sorry you have a storm heading your way - we have no rain in sight for EVER!!

Hi Nora - you must have needed it to sleep in that late - enjoy it while you can with the kiddie winkles on their way. The dogs never let me sleep in these days - 5.00 is the time they expect me to get up - LOL I don't mind really - I have always been a morning person anyway.

That is good news about the kids Nora. Have a great time!..Hope you are feeling better today MB. Hope we get some of the rain...I drink Odwalla superfood mixed with carrot juice in the a.m. I am too lazy to make my own...it is hot here too Sun. Just came in from my walk. Went 5 miles and did not see a soul or even a car! Just my landlord though as I turned down my road...hows that for country? Spent all day yest in garden and mowing and driving kids. More of the same today...later

I am back from running around - got some more dirt and am off out into the sweltering heat to hill the spuds some more - cannot believe how well they are doing this year. then off to youngests flat to go swimming!! Heck - guess that means I have to do some - AHEM - tidying up first :H

I have just found a post that I started at 6.15 this morning that I had on a different tab - my mum called me on Skype and I thought I had posted it!!!! SO - totally out of order but am not wasting it I am going to go ahead and post it anyway!! Actually I will cut and paste!! here it is !!

Time to get up. Pups got me up to go out at 4.00 - I am very impressed with Katie doing that . then my arms were itching and I kept dozing back off but the itching would wake me up again. Finally dozed off properly for about an hour until 6.00 when the itching woke me again - I think it is allergies - I get it every so often and will rip my arms to pieces!!!

Anyway, got my list of things to do today - wish the stores opened earlier - I am ready to go!!! I need Home Depot andTarget !

So there you have it - how funny!!

Off back to the garden!!

Hey all-- yes so quiet-- it seems my black hole rubbed off on everyone-- I should have kept my big fat trap SHUT!! It has been hot as blazes here -- Luke is begging to go to the neighborhood pool tomorrow which will be a mob scene but he really wants to-- they have a pot luck. I have eaten way too much today so planning to get up early to hit the gym before I take him to the pool- we leave for our beach house Friday on the redneck riviera -- I have banned Mark's iPad from the place but I bet that won't last. Going to have the trainer kick my butt Tuesday and Thursday before I go since I am sure I will be a slug!

Ruby and Fen-- hope it is cooler up there than down here!

Memorial day. I would just like to say that today we all need to be remembering all those who have given their lives for our freedom..... THE ultimate sacrifice. And so much of it these days unnecessary - a huge thank you to any of our troops reading here - or spouses - both of you have really hard jobs and I for one, really appreciate all you do.

Thinking of my Dad today who was killed in Nam...oh Sun, I am going to walmart and get me a hairnet right now...a box turtle visited my garden yesterday. I gave him a nice shower with the hose, some lettuce and squash, a tour of my living room and back to the garden with him....city pool opens today but it is dark and cloudy. The Y is closed today so I cant go there. Cmon rain, it is so dry...well, have a good day off if you are off today.

The pools opened here yesterday I think. yes, we need rain too so badly - supposed to get some later in the week, but I suppose I shall have to water today. At least the baskets and stuff. How lovely about the box turtle - was it a very big one? Loved what you did with him - gave him a tour of your living room, gave him a shower and fed him - sweet!!

I really need to go and shower too - got to get ready for breakfast with eldest then come back and water....
