I am only back,think its satz heading of ,
I haven't a drink since jan 09.
26 years that's amazing and well done,can relate to hitting rock bottom,There is a thread here called telling your story maybe you you would like to share yours,many here have.I would think it would be very intresting and helpfull to others.

Is it long sense you had your Last Drink...you seem Nervous,
Especially At the Airport,
Just think of your Last Mourning Sickness,ofter the Night Before....And Say,boy am I lucky to be Sober.
Its been 26 years sense I had my Last Drink....One day at a Time.
I went to Rock Bottom....Lucky to be Alive.

) I am tired as heck, but it was worth it. Had too many diet sodas and the caffeine kept me up, but better as I told a friend of mine, much better than a hangover! My daughter had all her friends, who are really a bunch of wonderful young men and women. And very very talented - they got up on the stage, sang, danced, had a wonderful time. My daughter sang a beautiful song for us accompanied by one of her best friends on guitar. Talk about a proud moment. I am blessed. We have to go back over to where we had the party to clean up and bring chairs and tables back so It will be another long day, but well worth it. Good thing is I won't have to cook for a few days due to the party food leftovers and we have loads of diet sodas and seltzer! I only bought a few bottles of wine and those went the minute my neighbor and good friend showed up luckly (for me...maybe not them this morning! lol)
