) about one inch above my right temple. The side of my forehead was a bit swollen the next morning and continued to swell and my eye as well, all day. The next morning my eye was swollen half shut and badly bruised. The bruising got worse and over the next few days, spread up over the bridge of my nose and into the inner corner and socket of my left eye. The swelling luckily went down within a few days but the bruising didn't go completely away for almost two weeks. The temple bone took 6 months to finally get back to it's original size. Not a pretty sight.
