            Hi again its turned into a lovely warm sunny afternoon and i just hung some washing out. The garden is in a mess from all the rain but thats another days work. Have a nice evening whatever your plans. I'm just chilling in front of tv and reading.:television::sun:

                Kradle, that does not sound like a good idea. Well, my worst experience was when I hit my head (I still have no idea what I hit it on) about one inch above my right temple. The side of my forehead was a bit swollen the next morning and continued to swell and my eye as well, all day. The next morning my eye was swollen half shut and badly bruised. The bruising got worse and over the next few days, spread up over the bridge of my nose and into the inner corner and socket of my left eye. The swelling luckily went down within a few days but the bruising didn't go completely away for almost two weeks. The temple bone took 6 months to finally get back to it's original size. Not a pretty sight.

                Foxy, it's a lovely warm day here, too - it went up to 30C. Actually a little warmer than I like at this time of the year.

                  Hi Stirly x Mine was my elbow, I fell onto the knob bit on the side of a radiator, cut my elbow quite badly and did some other damage inside, it still feels strange and bones stick out further than they should, didn't feel it at the time (ho hum) never got it looked at from embarrassment I can still use it but it aches all the time xxxxx

                        OH yes - it is indeed Winnie !!! I have always loved Winnie!!! My children gave the entire set of books and poems for a Mothers day pressie one year..... I love the brain set of Winnie The pooh - often feel I identify with him - LOL !!! I am feeling a bit better thanks angie - it was all such a shock i think.... lovely to hear you have been potting up things..... I have just been out dead-heading. Also picked some tomatoes and green peppers, spinach and radishes.... I so love picking stuff from the garden! Also hung out three loads of washing.... which will mean ironing - oh well! I got the 7th season of New Tricks in the post yesterday -YEAH !!!!! have SO been waiting for that to come out over here - just LOVE that show!! something to watch while I iron!

                        Hi Stirley - I was trying to think of what I have done and the only time I have fallen when I have over imbibed was once - and I slid down the cellar stairs HARD- and my whole rear end and back of my thighs were purple for weeks!!!

                        Well, off to start doing my envelope of stuff in event of my death - with my friends hubs passsing so suddenly it dawned on me that if I went, Hubs wouldn't have a clue - all our bills are paid on-line - he doesn't know passwords or accounts - not the password to get onto my computer - or on here to let you lot know. So I am doing an envelope just in case.... and am doing it today.

                        Back later everyone! i love taking a vacation day!!

                          Well it's supposed to be a "cool" smiley but it's usually used in place of an expression like "frig me" or "good grief" said while rolling your eyes in disgust or exasperation. Quite like the little fellow myself. :H Like this little guy as well. "confused" smiley. I use it a lot in place of "DUH?" Yeah, you can learn some very useful things here. Like which smilies to use where. :H

                            Geez Sun, that must have really hurt. Crikey!!

                            That envelope idea is a good one. We have no credit cards but we do have ATM cards and Mr. Stirly has no idea how to use one, never mind what the pin's are.

                            As far as your friend's husband's death - first of all, my condolences. Secondly, every time something like that happens, it makes us realize that we never know if we will still be breathing a second or a minute or an hour from now. That is a really sobering thought but not one that should scare us. Rather it is one that should make us do what you are doing. Turning it around to a positive experience. You could have turned into a blubbering mess and stayed that way but you decided to do something positive - make a list of things that your husband needs to know should something happen to you. :goodjob:
