) What's wrong with Hamish is that he has stomatitis/gingivitis at 9 months old. It doesn't sound like a biggie but it is usually indicative of an immune disorder in a cat that young. Immune disorder = extensive medical care. It was one thing the breeder giving me a Chartreux that looks like a Russian Blue... but giving me a sick cat is another thing entirely. He got a lawyer's letter this morning (the breeder). Fuck him and the horse he rode in on! excusez moi... a tad irritated. I'm asking for him to pay the medical expenses. I won't send Hamish back... he's mine now... but if this turns into something long-term then the bugger should pony up the cash to pay for his breeding mistake. It's a "wait and see" thing... need to see if the antibiotics will clear it, if it will re-occur, and then just take it ONE STEP AT A TIME! :l The frightening thing that the Vet prepared me for is that he may need a full mouth extraction so that we don't put his heart in risk from an infection. Gawd.
( I was SO stupid not going to the Doc sooner.
