Afternoon army this has a very busy tread all morning. I fell asleep bout 2.30 am last night and didn't wake up till after 11 so the sleep fairy came lol. Congrats to newest seniour member. Lovely to see you here Starty have a lovely time in Cornwall wud luv to go there. I don't do xmas anymore either but will be going to my sister for dinner and call to a friend's on the way back. I have to go i'm running late i have a few things on today. Shopping bill paying dry cleaners for my coat ( ny sis works there so free coat clean) and i'm helping a neighbor so be back laters some time. Well done Zen on rehab i'd be scared also to go now but i can't say never if i don't get my act together. Byeeee.

Ia it wrong of me to take a little cough mixture with poison in. as long as it for the cough....I've already taken the view that its fine. Others may disagree. If I wanted to get drunk or even a little high I wouldn't do.it on covonia....

IMHO I think the lack of sleep is a bigger trigger but I also agree with Molly, do what you feel is OK for you. Personally I have and it didn't lead to problems....hope you feel better soon PPQ

Yeah I thought about that but my take on it its that if I can't taste or see alcohol then its ok. So I'll have a sauce with wine in as long, as I can't taste it but I won't eat chocolate filled with al or sherry trifle where I can smell it

The "over the counter" cough syrup does nothing for me.

Here we use Benylin and if I ask the pharmacist I can get it with Codene without a Rx.

It's the codene that actually soothes the cough.
