    Arvo all - bloody hell, Missy - that would have been a scare. Let's hope she's well enough to go back to the home tomorrow. Mr.B is a good man.

    Bridge - too fusking young. I totally understand the 'quiet think' thing.

    I've got nothing other than the local pub's got new owners and they're really elevating the rural counter meals - went for lunch again today and I had most fantastic scallops on parsnip mash and then a brilliant caramelised onion, blue cheese, fig and rocket pizza. And they've installed a very serious coffee machine gizmo and I was delighted to see a whole bunch of Harley Davidson riders pull up and order lattes and macchiatos ... There goes that image ...

      Nothing wrong wif pulling up on yer hog and ordering a long black, but don't top up with water please.

      Glad your mum's ok Missy. A bit of a fright and a big day nonetheless! I take the L-Glut mainly for brain chemistry repair (and don't i need it) and physical recovery from exercise, but it seems to diminish cravings for booze as a side effect, but i can't tell for sure, just an inkling.

      Geez Bridge. Wishing your friend a full recovery soon. I heard of a guy getting cirrhosis of the liver from drinking coke a cola. He was a total non AL drinker.

      That Scottish bloke on SBS now who also hosts 'Coast' hasn't got a bad gig. Love the places he visits.

            New Year Underoos.....

            I have survived 14 teens..well all but 2 musicians and very loud, all the girls spent the night and up all night talking, I finally put in earplugs at 230 hahahahahaPlus there was a very loud band playing across the field about half a mile down til 1:00. They had a pretty good lead player though...making my plan for a sober day cuz I know the jones is coming (not Bridge)...I better load up on l- glut...see you later

              Morning all.

              I didn't preface "morning" with good because I'm grumpy. Not only is it Monday, it is raining and hot and humid, I have to go to the dentist this morning, Mr B got up out of bed on the wrong side and yelled when he couldn't find his keys and one of the cats had thrown up on the carpet.

                  Good to hear you survived the evening Bird! Was there a jam session?

                  Cool morning here. Orf to see James soon, and a run along the beach. Then i shall carefully select a joint to take brunch. Noticed a little beach icecream cafe that does breakfast and hopefully hardcore coffee yesty, kind of orf the tourist trail and appeared to be frequented by yer early morning bike riders and runners. Outdoor vibe and plenty of tables and chairs. Could be a beaut find, right on the sand, or just another over priced half arsed operation run by Geoff and Jules from Doncaster.

                  Yet another brilliant day of possibilities ahead. Take care Roo's.

                    Morning Undies, quickly zooming through. Missy hope your mum is well. Bridge sorry to hear about your mate, its food for thought and you need time to take that on board. Remember my mate with cancer last year? clean bill of health, fighting fit and hitting the piss like nobodies business....I cant watch...doesnt matter what you say either...Mr G, finding your friends music is a gift, hope you can make something from it that gives you and other's joy. Bird, I spent 30 minutes at a 16 year old girls birthday party last night....the deafness from the bell helped!

                    I'm indulging in OCD of a 1,000 piece jigsaw in the evenings. Remember the diversional therapy for the little locust to put him on a different path from PS3? we're both hooked and its good. Hope to finish the one we're working on today....but....work calls... cross your finger we might get rain this arvo ??

                      Here's the funny thing Mr G.
                      My Mum and Dad used to have friends called Jeff and Julie, and they were indeed from Doncaster (not kidding). I use the past tense because they turned up unexpectedly one year with an entourage of toothless grandpeople, vile children and caged and other animals, camped on our front lawn like new age travellers, and failed to leave for a good long time. This, apparently, was their annual family holiday, unbeknownst to us. They are no longer in contact

                      Bird, anyone who can tolerate 14 anythings is a champion in my book, but teenagers????

                              Then you must do something constructive with that two hours. I suggest open eyed meditation (as opposed to your closed eye), converting kilometres to miles and back again, eye spy, making up rude stories about passing motorists/wankers. This last one is the boy and my favourite.
