    Army Thread Thursday 24th January

Hi Mrs A & reccie, just out the door to work now but long overdue a check in. Life is grand with the exception of this poison they call AL, aka 'the devils brew'. It has me deep in its grip yet again.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Good morning Tipperoo, Pinkles, Reccybear, Starters, Runners, Our Whizzy, Questy, KTabbers, Mick, Marioooooo, Foxyloxy

            Tips. Glad the car's sorted.

Starts, hun. I still feel terribly guilty about nearly taking the head off a young lad at Barclaycard after my Mum died. Wasn't his fault that they'd cocked up her credit card but I was beyond reasoning after a day dealing with her paperwork. Hope today's a better day.

Questy today's is Thursday, not the alternative day. Do the fast forward thingy. Drink tonight............feel crap, guilty, dreadful, ashamed you know the drill.

KTAB and Foxy planning is the key, me lovely. Commit to being sober each and every day. I've lost a very dear cousin this week to alcoholism. I don't want to loose two dear friends to it.

Oh and a big yooooooooooooo hooooooooo to the usual suspects and the lurkers.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Best of luck with the essay, Pinkeroo.

Good news: it was a pipe on the turbo that wasn't fitted back properly during the service. Nothing major.
good that the repair wasn't major

Well, it's going to be a tough and very long day today - tender due in by noon tomorrow.

And it's the "alternate" day - crikey !!! May need some major arse kicking later

Mr T - glad your car wasn't anything major - I HATE driving - in fact I refuse to drive when I'm at home - hubs does it all.

Pinky - essay writing - hmmmmmm - glad I'm done with all that. Mind you, when I was doing me degree, I'd start off not knowing where to start, and then the drivel just flowed and I'd end up chopping stuff out lol

Morning Reccie Bear - hope yer neighbour get sorted - could be epilepsy ? Been there, got the t-shirt, many years ago.......

Yo RC - busy day planned ???

Mrs A - off for a run - I'm knackered just reading about your levels of exercise

And Starty - hope todays better than yesterday - nobody needs abusive clients !!!

And big waves to all to come - I'll be popping back in a bit
                good luck with the tender

                              Hi Reccie
Yes I did but the one empty office here has been earmarked for a newhire:upset:
20 years service here counts for very little & to be honest I am getting quite tired of it !
Hate being so negative - but that is the mood today Mr Bear - and this place is not helping.
Should I go home & maybe feel better tomorrow ?- 'cos to be honest I am exhausted today

                                Quick lunchtime check in.

Tabbers good to see you. Sorry you are still haveing shite.

Satzuma, negative will pass hun xx But if you are exhausted, that will amplify it 10 fold. If you can go home to bobos, do it. xx

JC dont feel guilty, dealing with money can be incredibly frustrating. I too have had a go at call centre staff before. Some of them are useless

Better day today as at least I have managed to find a non opiate painkiller that works on my back. Something that Mr Starts was given for his and it WORKS Woohoo. No pain for a while
