Re. telling them --- no brainer there imo!! There is NO reason to bring this into work - I know I didn't - my roommate in rehab had to cos she had to be driven home drunk from work by her boss - nope - however - my doc wrote on the sick note 'stress/depression' when I was in Aiseiri - and it was true - not the whole truth - but true - and if you don't want 'depression' appearing - let it just be 'stress' maybe - according to Adam - any company see's red flags when they hear that cos it means they may be overtaxing an employee which your lot certainly seem to be doing - and they may be gentler with you.
Certainly mine have been this last year - they are kinder and just a bit 'careful' with me - and all that without the stigma of a drinking disorder.
I repeat THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION - but I wouldn't bring an alcohol problem into the work place unless it's unavoidable - and this is from one who nowadays would tell the postman I'm an alkie

Coming from a ' HR Professional ' - stop laughing you Mollers - these days you do not have to tell your employer what is wrong with you - your doc doesn't have to put any condition on the note - just that you are unfit for work - SO THERE !

My' work' lappy is in for an upgrade and I brought in my own 'home' lappy so's I could doss in Skiverville.:H

ENJOY the time off - I for one feel like a nap meself at present - been up since 6am - tearing around the gym then from 7 - 8.

Good morning Army

Sorry there is so much sadness in the Army:l I would rather have broken ribs than depression.

Mrs A feeling great again healthy and strong and feel able to cope with the devastation of the death of my neice.

Off for a sports massage OUCH I think I am the oldest person at this particular clinic but because I am in a particular scheme (not private medicine) I get free treatment which keeps me running!

I stayed up for a bit to watch QT - then fell asleep and obviously missed Arsey's pal talking!!
I've the new antibiotics started now Peapie - so hopefully really soooooooon!!

His pal was good very gutsy. Would luv to have the guts to challenge folk esp in a public arena but alas i dont.

If they're the right AB I'd say you'll start feelin the benefit by tomorrow. Just watch out for the oul nasty side-effects of ABs tho x

Well, since no-one made me pancakes ARSEY :upset:, i hafta go and fix meself some breakkie/lunch- jeez its a hard oul life.

Oh Molls you mentioned somewhere, bout a programme with wots his name- cant 'member it now, American guy/comedian lives in Ireland. What station and when was it on? I seen him on maybe the late late a while ago talkin bout booze and how he goes to AA. Bet ya his name will come to me when i hit send!
