Had a weekend of sanding, painting and whining. Relaxed by time Masterchef sailed from Freo. Pity they didn't show more of the town.

I know you're a long way away from services.

- Can you see/ are you seeing a GP at the moment? Are you tied in with a GP with a care plan? If not, why not?

- Are anti-depressants an option for you? Excuse my dopey memory, but have you been on AD's before, or are you on them now? If not, why not, and if yep, have they ever worked for you?

- What's your plan for this week for you. (Aside from your physical work/driving/horses etc.) What is your plan for your own mental and emotional health today and this week? Are you taking any action to better your state of mind, if so what?

Good morning to July!

Been a busyish and expensive week for Mr Ragsand moi.
We're replacing the outrageously expensive cooktop we bought when we did the renos 3 years ago. Also going to replace the kitchen sink. The right angles are driving me nuts trying to keep clean, so it's off to Reece later this morning. Undies, NEVER buy a square sink.
We thought about getting an induction cooktop, but they are way expensive and we'd most likely need to get 3 phase leccy so out of our price range. So gas it is.

Missy, you'll have to come to my place soon so I can test my new cooktop cooking skills with you. :l

Jason is coming later in the week to take the old mattress to Mission Aust (they dismantle them) so I'll have space to walk down the hallway again. He's also going to see why the pics I took on my mobile phone won't download. He is a multi talented man!

Haven't read back the last week of June, so off to do that now.

Isn't it beaut...... we have some sunshine this morning.


New cooktop which will arrive in about ten days.

Hello July (even tho its still June here)....Ragsy, does your sink really have square corners like a wall???Raining like hell here and kid back from beach with friend, they are all back there screaming over some vid. I'm still on my cleaning spree ...its melon season here and peeps are sitting side the road selling watermelons and cantaloupes for 2 and 3 dollars...also stuff falls off the farmers trucks on way to market and you can stop side the road and pick it up...peppers, cabbages, cukes, carrots blah blah more...Cori, hope things are looking up. Come on and post a bit...back later...

Watched Silver Linings Playbook last night. Quite enjoyed it, but often find that the ones that get heaps of hype don't live up.

Here's the chicken leek and mushroom pie I made for last Thursday's visitors. using Karen Martini's recipe from the Tuesday SMH.

Didn't have time to photograph it as it came out of the oven. It tasted great, but next time I'll just bung it all together rather than go to trouble of making a roux etc etc.

If you look at the mug with the 2 cats on it, ages ago I had a similar T shirt which had the caption underneath..... " If I had two dead rats I'd give you one..."

my weight training bench.... couple of milk crates, a bit of garden sleeper from Bunnings and a bit of compressed foam I had left over. Cost... nothing! Now all I have to do is keep myself inspired to do some weight training and not wreck my shoulder more than it is already.
