Marnin/arvo troops!

Hope a'body is well... haven't been able to catch up since Friday. I decided to get rid of the old desktop which lead to a catalogue of disasters... ( and had a friend over yesterday and last night. Anyway, I have me internet all sorted as of this morning. Well... ALMOST all sorted.

Congratulations again on your 4 years Jacks... that's awesome!

I've been doing loads of cleaning and stuff. In my absence the cats mangled the new leather couch... I am mega pissed off. I asked yer wan indoors to make sure their claws were clipped and that obviously didn't happen... grrrr. (Like a few other things didn't happen either FFS... been playing catch up with the house since I've been back. Can't turn me back!) I don't know how much it'll cost to get a leather repair man in but whatever he charges I'm going to be PO'd!

Just about to toodle out into the heat and humidity to wash the windows and mine and Cheryl's cars. Should just take them to the car wash and maybe I will if it's too hot. I also have yard work to do (bought a new trimmer over the weekend... vroom vroom) so it's a hot & sweaty one this side of the pond!

Cheryl's mum is here looking after her... she is an absolute hoot! It's great having her around... :h

Zenners, Glad to see you back in your nest. Sorry about the couch. I have a very destructive cat. He chews on everything. Furniture, paper, boxes, whatever. He is also very old and very, very fat. He can't clean himself. I need to shave his back where the dog "grooms" him and he has nasty stuck on fur. Ick. Trying to figure out a way to sedate him safely so I can do that.

I like him but will not necessarily miss him when he is gone. Especially the 2:00 a.m. yowling that he also does. Very odd cat.

Waves to everyone else. Hope all have a bit of good luck today, not just Inchy.

Yeah, my weekend went to hell in a handbasket between the computer, house stuff, shopping and having my mate over. I still need to go to Office Depot to finish off the computer rig but at least I'm online. I have a Doc's appointment at 3.00 so hope to get to Office Depot after that.

And, yep, now you know how the cats got on. They got their claws clipped after I discovered the couch and now they can't get any traction and they're skidding on the wood floors when they run round corners.... hehehe...

Hiya Tipps & Cindi! :l Cindi... your cat sounds like a bit of a handful! Maybe you should just take him to a groomer and have them shave him. I took my mum's cat in when I was back... much easier than attempting it yourself. Especially if he's crotchety.

I'm almost 1/2 way through the windows/yard work... debating whether to try finishing it before the Doc or leave it till tomorrow... leaning towards the latter!

Hello all - late log in today. It's been crazy back at work after a few days off. They fired my assistant for inappropriate behavior (you coudl have knowcked me over with a feather). Guess you have to watch the quiet ones. I am always so busy, I never noticed what he was doing when he was not helping me! Crazy. Now I have twice the work for a while. Oh well, lucky to have a job. Feeling so unsettled today. Kind of depressed and yucky. Maybe it is the new moon. Who knows.

Tell me about it! If I had bollix I'd be sweating them orf today working in de sunshine... Ach it's not bad really... I get a good sense of accomplishment.
