I'd have done something more subtle Molly, like removed a fuse from the fuse box:H

I'm really sensitive to noise and even in my partying days would go an hide in a bedroom if friends wouldn't turn the volume down. Solid stone walls vibrating are not a good thing.

I've emailed admin to see if I can have a slight name change, not sure if JC was joking but I like her version of UKB, and it's not so removed peeps won't realise who it is so will just see what the powers that be will say.

Blimey! I agree with what the others said molly. You and Joe shouldn't have to put up with that sort of thing on a weekday "evening" when you both have work to go to. You laid down the rules very clearly and joey has broken them, so something has to give. If you and Joe are singing from the same hymn book and being consistent, joey can have no complaints.

Happy Friday all! Sweetpea - wonderful news! YAY!

Molly - so sorry about Joey. You are doing the right thing, as someone else said, that whole disrespectful thing is for the damn birds.

Jackie - glad you are on the mend

I have my last summer Friday off today so hanging with the two girls. My eldest actually CALLED me from college last night to tell me about the fun they had doing the orinetation play for the freshman. Make my heart smile. Going to be out and about today - can't bear the thought of being home with my brother in law (lives with us) - he got laid off and sits around watching TV from 8 am until 10 pm. Waiting for the job fairies to miraculously throw a job in his lap. He is the #1 cause of all fights in this house. Apparently when I married my husband, he came along with the package, I just did not know about it. 12 years he has lived here. He pays a little rent, but I really have no tolerance for lazy people. When when he worked, he would work, come home and watch TV in the dark basement. That's IT. Ugh. I can never change him, but I do think it is about time another one of the many family members took care of him. I am tired of having a fourth kid (56 years old). Actually 5 kids including my husband, but that is a whole different rant..lol

:hallo: Army. Just a quick hi and bye. We're expecting visitors shortly. They're staying over, so not really looking forward to it. We prefer to have our space to ourselves Taking them out to dinner, though. No way am I slaving over a stove on a Friday night. Going to a little Lebanese restaurant nearby. Stunning food and informal setting. Called Manouche. Lamb kebabs have my name on them :goodjob: Won't let the fact that I had just as fantastic a lunch. Italian place, had various cold meats, olives and a caprese salad to start, followed by a delectable veal served with mash and a rich butter and herb sauce.

Well, it?s been a bit sad around here since yesterday morning. The BF's mother's cat (who was the BF's favourite kitty) was put to sleep this morning as he was diagnosed with liver cancer yesterday. His brother that?s coming for the weekend took the cat in to be put to sleep before starting his drive down from Jacksonville. Me? I?m trying not to dwell because it brings up memories of my past fur babies. You know? it was because of two cats being put to sleep that I found MWO? I was so distraught over MacGregor and Seamus having to be euthanized that I went on a God Almighty bender which resulted in me trolleyed and crying, surfing the internet, looking for any kind of help I could find. I started lurking, mostly on the Army thread, in December 2008 and picked up the courage to join in Jan 2009. Fookez moi? that?s over 4 ? years ago. Anyhoo? going to gird me loins here for the arrival of the BF?s sad bro. I have him all to meself for a few hours before yer wan indoors gets home and I so hope he?s going to be OK. They were all very attached to this cat.

And as chance would have it? taking my cats to the vet at 2.30 for their annual shots and exams.

What else? Oh yeah, went to a posh hairdresser yesterday and got a nice cut, colour and highlights. I usually colour it myself so that was a rare treat for me! ) The highlights look really neat and, unfortunately, I don?t see me being able to give them up which is a pain in the arse as it was expensive.

And been getting estimates for the bedroom opening scenario. Feckin contractors here are a NIGHTMARE.

And? I think that?s it! Calm before the storm I reckon. My mate Kenny is bringing a canopy to erect on the back deck tomorrow as the weather forecast ain?t looking too great. And an outside cooker. The ones with the kids have now added on a dog as well so I?m moving the whole thing outdoors. If my cats saw the dog they?d shit. He?s a really neat dog? extremely affectionate? but too big & bouncy for the kitties.

Oh and Mollers? I went to look at phones yesterday and I reckon I?m going to get the S4. I can get a good deal at Costco? they waive the activation fee and give you a free charger, car charger and gel case for the phone. Did you know the S4 has got a high definition display? The Note II is an older model and doesn?t have the high def.

And on that note... off to troubleshoot my email. Feckin thing hasn't been working since yesterday and I'm sure my fan mail will have backed up horrendously. I answer them all personally you know?!
