Oh good! Didn't know what was going on behind the scenes, so I wasn't sure.

Got a couple of puncture wounds on me nose, molls, no big deal and I've suffered far worse at the paws of poppy, but I hope amy's not planning to do that sort of thing when she's fully grown or I'll be in trouble.

            Morning Army,

It is good for this lurker to see things back on an even keel with you all. Whew!!

Tabbers, I agree. Each and every time I have lapsed and had to get back at it was harder and harder. I am so afraid that if I relapse again, I won't be able to get back. Maybe my last sober, if you know what I mean? Keeps me kind of vigilant. I finally have a good outlook on life again and never want to get back to that dark place where I was willing to just go off and drink to death. Never.

Jackie and Mollers, I know that for me, there is no option to drink ever again. Been there and done that so many times, I finally figured it out. Hard to knock some sense into this old mare but it finally stuck. :-)

I cannot speak for others, though.

Waiting to hear whether my DUI will keep me out of my position I applied for. Thank heavens for AA, it is what it is. I can't do anything to change it. I will accept whatever happens. We sure do need the money, though.

Good luck on the interview, Sweetpea.

            Waves to all others.

            Have a grand day.

            Love,
            Cindi

Ahhhh... Dis Is Goot! All hands are on deck and everything is looking ship shape and Bristol fashion. And there's even breakfast in the crew mess!

Oh, sorry, we's not the Navy is we? It's a throwback to me years on de ocean waves. As yiz were! )

I'm not sure if I mentioned, I don't think I did properly... but I FINALLY started working on Monday. Aye aye sit down it's not THAT big a deal! :H Which means I can now be an official member of SKIVERVILLE which is really the only reason I started to work. :H Naw, but, once I get the hang of it and see some spudulikas coming in from it, I'll be a happy (even if somewhat bored to my back teeth with legal documents) camper.

And my News de Jour... the Scottish carpenter is coming to give me an estimate to install my doors (oooo errr missus) today. Can't wait! He sounds awfully like me on the phone but I think any Scottish person would sound like me to my ears here in the world of American accents. I have an inkling that in reality he sounds more like Arsey. He did say it's like talking to his sister on the phone so it'll be interesting to see where he's from. His wife died of cancer 6 months ago leaving him with 2 young teens so of course yer Zenners wan is all ready to take him under her wing. Yer wan indoors will get home and there will be a Scottish geezer and two young children in the spare room! :H :new:

                  And no doors! lol

Actually, the doors won't be ready for about a month.

And MORE news... the cops were here today, across the street. Don't know what was going on but the jungle drums will start when I get to me emails!

Oh and now that I'm chained to my puter you will prolly be seeing a bit more of me. Sorry about that old chap! ;o)

Sweety... Nice job! On the interview AND the wolf whistles!

Arsey... the carpenter is from your neck of the woods. He's a Glasgae lad! He's sending two other Scottish guys round to instal the doors when they come in. (Good price and all... and ye ken how we like THAT!) lol
