Bird, I'm really glad that you and the girls had a fun time away... Here in Ontario they have KOA campgrounds also... I've not been to one, but the people we bought our travel trailer from used to just haul the trailer about 3 miles to the KOA and camp with their kids during the summer. They really enjoyed it. Needless to say in the 3 years they had the trailer after buying it new the tires were barely worn.. haa !!! haaa !!! Likely had under 100 miles on them... Hee !! Hee!!
It is snowing like crazy here with the sun shining at the same time.. Just beautiful.

Bird, glad you got to get out of the house and have a change of scenery, that's always a breath of fresh air, no matter where you go, or what you do...my Dad used to say in an E. Texas phrase..."get out and blow the stink off"....lol....That's a cool story about your tree, how special! Nibs, I think you are going to have to get Spy Goat on the case! I'm calling More2 too, she hasn't checked in either, and I'm wondering if Bootsie is ok too....geezzzz....when all freak when one of the flock is out of the herd! Hope everyone's New Year was awesome, we just got home from our friends, we had a great time, doing about nothing...lol...it was fun, we cooked, and snacked, and watched TV and the ball drop, and talked and laughed, then slept in, and stayed in our sweats all day, and I came home the same way...if its true you do the samething all year, as the first day, then by this time next year, I'm going look really ugly, smell bad, and weigh about 300lbs....lol...We did have to pop the cork on a champagne for good luck, they don't know about my mission, but kept commenting on why I wasn't having more...lol...I'm dedicated to this being the first year in awhile, that I don't wake up with a hangover ever again, and conquer this beast, I know we can all do this together! I wanna be a "Bear" in '08! Love you all....those of you who are AWOL, get yo asses back here! Also, Morrison has court tomorrow, he's been doing really, really great on anabuse, and so I'm hoping he'll cope ok with tomorrow, his evaluation went well, and hopefully this will too, and he'll be able to put in one great '08 too! All of you are on my prayer list, put me on yours too, please!

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL....didn't mean to go MIA, been busy with holidays and Mama. Signing her up on Hospice tomorrow. Been a rough few days.

My puppies name is Georgia! I am getting a male January 20th and naming him Uga. After the Georgia Bulldogs. She is the cutest thing ever. I just love her. She popped so much at first we thought we might call her SHITTY...HA HA HA

hello all and happy new year. i've been sleeping my life away in vermont. and yes it is cold here and snowing. oohhhhh i'm close enough to go to canada. hahaahha no word from docs but i'm counting on it being a beautiful c free week. and tomorrow i start my program sessions with rhonda at lenair. so on my cel phone and sending you all a lovely beginning to the new year. 2008 is our year for amazing miracles.

So good to "see" you Luv I'm very sad to hear that you have had some really tough days with your Mamas' health declining... I hope and pray that hospice is a positive step, and truthfully I'm really guessing that it will be a positive step for your whole family. New Years Eve, the bulldog was in our bed at our friends house, and he was snoring and hubby was too...it was TOO MUCH, usually the bulldog sleeps on the couch in the kitchen....it was like Bose stereo surround sound! I slept in this morning! Just threw out all the deserts leftover, and all the sugar gunk, and I have fresh halibut marinating, and I've got onions in the cast iron skillet simmering, going to make homemade grass-fed beef, nat'l pork, and bison chili...make a batch of organic cornbread, and some jasmine brown rice to go with the halibut, which we'll have tonight, chili is always better the next day...lol....got Tazo Wild Sweet Orange decaf tea in the pot, fixing to make the Tazo Refresh More2 sent me, and got a load of San Pellingrino water chilled in the refrig. By God, and yes with God, I'm going to be hell on wheels againist that big ol beast....lol....Like Chief said...ITS HARDER TO KEEP DRINKING THAN TO QUIT DRINKING!!!!! No Duh! Love you all....

Guys, I just got the most DISTURBING phone call about a half hour ago....
One of the girls from work called to ask me about the last day of work.. Did the "big boss" call etc... ??? No. Nothing out of the ordinary, "Why"
Well, it turns out that on a job search website "Compass Group" who is our "Big Boss" is advertising for a superviser, 2 cooks as well as cashiers for our school !!!!!!!!! Can they do that ??!!! Just replace you for no good reason with no notice ??!! Needless to say I'm upset.. I'm passionate about my job with all the great kids... Now my boss on the other hand... she is an evil B#%^^$$^H !!! I remember her saying that we were being audited and that her books didn't jive... etc... She may very well have lost us all our jobs... I really and truely don't know WHAT to think at this point. I tried to find the listing but was unable to "apply for my job back" if that is even an option. I've never been fired before or ever given reason for that matter.. I'm totally beside myself.. Apparently, once the "big boss" rehired staff at 2 other schools in Sudbury area... I find that sooo disturbing. I really LOVE my job and please say a prayer that this just isn't so.
I know in my heart that what is meant to be will be. Tex just sent me a prayer just now that had one line that said " I pray that right now, I'm right where the Lord means me to be" and that is how I feel. So my friends, I will let you know as soon as I know my outcome of this... Naww,,, this aint gonna drive me to drink !! tee !! hee!! Love and hugs, " I must have faith"

Hello everyone; I am doing great. I was able to ride a stationary bike today without hurting. I haven't been able to do that for years. literally. Anyway, I am now on a cane and walking pretty well. Luv and more2, I am glad to see you guys are ok. I too was begining to worry, but I said a little prayer and left it up to God. Barbi, you take care of yourself. Let us know how things are going. Tex, sounds like you had a great new years day. Bird, it is sweet about the ornament. We all really are closer than I would ever have thought possible. Nibs, I hope and pray your job is not being shopped around. That would suck. Lucky, you are special, and we all appreciate your coming around. xxx Cindi, I don't know about Hero status, but I am glad I am your friend. You know I am here for you if you need me.
