    Army Thread Thursday 24th October

    Gooooooooood morning, folksies

It's a beeeeeeeeeeeautiful day in Cape Town, with temperatures of up to 30C expected. Thing is, I'll be cloistered in a conference room all day :upset: We're having a quarterly business review meeting. Ugh...

Anyhoo... have a lovely Thursday, and may it be embuggerance-free.

      Morning, CC

I would never survive in northern climes, I'm afraid.

How's hubby's foot doing? Getting better at a rapid pace, I hope.

THat's good to hear, CC - you need to get him back on his feet so he can make a contribution to chores and the like, right?

Hi and bye PeaPod - good luck. Hope work will be OK.

                Good morning all

Cape Town temperature sounds lovely but only if you do not have to work.
Looks like a blue sky day here even if it is 10 degrees

Had a bit of a painful day yesterday as I have ditched the pain relief but after a sleep I feel sore but not in agony or fuzzy and nauseous with Codeine.

Morning folks, dahsing off to work here, hope everyone has a great day. P.S Some Great news, the consultant child psychologist I work with has agreed to co publish an article with me, so should be hitting the psychological publications in 2014 ish. I f it's accepted by the journal, but he reckons there shouldn't be a problem as he writes loads of stuff for journals and knows how to pitch it to make sure it's accepted

                            Morning!

Why're you trying to knit with circular needles Jackie? Wot are they for?

Soup and coffee here too. No recipe though - just using up whatever veggies I had in the fridge - carrots, celery, cabbage and tomatoes.

Beautiful day, if a little muddy underfoot. Found somewhere new to walk amy where we're not so likely to meet BIG dogs running loose. I'll be taking her for her 3rd lot of vaccinations this afternoon and then hopefully we won't be seeing the vet again for a while.

:hallo: molls on hols - glad you're enjoying yourself

Oh I'm taking MWO beanie hat knitting to the next level.

Actually I've got a pattern for a Minion hat and it says you need them. And you know I :h my Minions.

Sounds luvverly your soup. Are you just chucking them in a pan with a bit of stock and giving it a whizz with a blender?
