Temperature is 1 coat, warm jumper, thermal fleece, 1 JC knitted beanie, leather gloves, denim jeans, thermal socks and boots.

Tomorrow it will be 30 degrees in Oman, what to wear then???

              Hello army

littlepinkcat;1587649 wrote: I'm good yeah, the cars fecked again, lol. So mrs pinky has lent me 350 pounds to go get a micra today, it's from the garage i always take me cars too. it's just a run around, but I can trust the mechani, he reckons it will last 1 year and then he will find me something else. Or i could get a car on finance, but i just can't afford the payments.

But apart from that I'm good yeah, I have no luck with cars
Good luck with the micra, pinky. I used to have one of them. Loved it until I wrote it off. :upset: Don't forget to check under the bonnet to make sure all the engine parts are there this time

I don't hate jigsaws, but I've never understood the point. Someone (ok, prolly a machine) cuts a cardboard picture up into a squillion pieces so someone else can put them all back together again. Bit like digging a hole in the ground for someone else to fill in?

Wow, that's big news! Have you actually found someone to buy your house, whizzy? Will you be staying in the same area? Are you downsizing? I'm asking too many questions again, aren't I?

Went to Witney this morning. It was cold, very windy and absolutely chucking it down. A couple of degrees colder and it would have been a blizzard. In dreamy language, that translates into a Breton shirt, Donegal sweater, coat, scarf, denim jeans, socks, thick woolly walking socks to go on top of aforementioned socks, and boots.

Just marinating the tomatoes now as per your instructions whizzy. :thanks:

My daughter is buying our(too big) house which means all the extended family can still come and stay in the family home without me having to look after them.:goodjob:

I have found a smaller house but with enough room for Mr A's wine collection.

The whole thing is all a bit stressful but I will be glad to be downsizing--Enjoy your tomatoes and egg

Love the temp readings, Army! So, cold, but still not BH-standard cold.

Anon, how strict is Oman in terms of women's clothing? Can you wear shorts or sleeveless dresses, for example, without problems? Nice that your daughter is buying the house - and brilliantly sneaky way out of looking after the Anon clan on visit!

Weather this side: grey, windy, rain on its way, long-sleeved t-shirt cold. Sorry. You can get your revenge in a few months' time!

Will take the pressure off you - you'll be a new woman - without all the gang landing on you :yay:

That sounds like a really good solution whizzy, and you get to save on the estate agent fees too! :goodjob: I'm sure it's still quite stressful, but hopefully escaping from our wintry weather for a little while will help with the stress. How long will you be away for?

                      :hallo: dreamy and satzy
