Naw we never do. Our 1st anniversary the luvverly Jenz was about 8 weeks old and we were jiggered, our 2nd I was up the duff with the S&H and had me head down the bog quite a bit...so we just decided then not to make a big fuss.

And seeing how we're both Dr Who geeks, it's the 50th anniversary episode tonight so we'll be watching that with some goodies from Marks and Sparks.

Morning Satz,
That reminds me of the first time Mr JC came round to my flat. I was soooooooooooo full of nerves a few of the girls from work to me to Happy Hour. I managed to get home after copious amounts of voddie but I was near incapable of speech when he arrived.

He sat clutching a coffee while we watched Dallas on me wee black & white TV and then went home. Still he rang me the following day and the rest as they say is geography.

Good Morning, Army,

I post on the Monthly Abs Thread but I just had to pop in and say hi to DreamThinkDo, as she posts on our thread, but when she is missing, I come here to find her.

Dream-I'm glad your date went well. Your date has been sober for 23+ years...wow! That is wonderful that you have sobriety in common. I haven't been out on a date in so long I am not sure I would know what to do, but I would probably get advice from the Army here.:h

Jackie-you were so, so kind to me when I was struggling to be AF, and had so many Day 1s it was ridiculous. I never fully thanked you for that.:thanks: I loved the story about your first date with Mr. JC. Happy Anniversary to you, too!

Tiptronic-I owe you a big :thanks: too. In 2011, I was on my first trip to Barcelona for business and my cell phone and my computer crashed at the same time, and out of frustration, I drank a bottle of champagne from the hotel room mini-bar. I was bawling because I had blown months of continuous sobriety, but you were so sweet you told me, "That's all you drank....a bottle of champagne???? I would have drunk EVERYTHING in the mini-bar!!!!!" Did you see the movie, "Flight?" If you did, I think of you when I see that scene with Denzel Washington in his hotel room.

It is 6:33 AM here in Wisconsin, and I know you all are fully into your Saturday now, so I hope everyone in the Army is having a lovely day.

Hi Rusty, nice to see you here with this wonderful lot of uniformed hooligans. Their advice was along the lines of fishnet stockings and very short very tight leather skirts - but when the chips are really down, their advice is rock solid. Gotta love them
