    Good morning from a very misty Cape Town.

    Another nightmare commute - 2 hours this time round. Hey ho...

    At least the weekend was lekker. I hope your Monday will be too.

      and all other annoyances
      If in doubt re. weather - wear another pair of gloves or another coat - a la Hedgey :H

        Morning guys, day off here, studying though, but still it's a day off, whoop!
        I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

          Well another day at the chalkface done... and feeling ok. Only 3 more weeks till the Xmas hols, yay!!

              Morning all still in bed with laptop and tv. Off to visit a friend later and pick up a book from the library. Thinking of changing both my broadband and mobile phone providers i'm not happy with both so looking around at deals. have a good Monday.

                Morning all! Hope everyone is well Today is my Friday - I iwll be picking up my eldest from college tomorrow and off for the Thanksgiving holidays. Having lots of family over this year, so I am really happy. My daughter had the lead again in her college play - it was called Rabbit Hole - we went up last weekend. I can honestly say that she had the entire audience sobbing, She has some amazing talent. So proud.

                Very thankful these days - not just because of the holidays coming up. Had a very sad loss recently, but had been able to be with my friend at a wedding recently and spent a lot of time with her. Her death actually helped my sister mend fences with her ex's family (she has 3 kids with him) and that was truly a wonderful gift! I am still sober, my girls are doing well and happy, my husband and I are getting back on track, work sucks, but I don't even include that in the equation anymore because it depresses me...lol. Really thankful for this place and you guys. WIthout your love and support I could not have gotten this far. It is so worth it, and life is just better for me with no wine. It just is. ANyway, sorry for getting all sappy. Hope you all lhave a great day and we'll talk soon.

                  Going to the see the Pantomime Aladdin tonight. The S&H's GF is in it. Was a hoot last year.

                      Cold here this morning but dry and sunny. It's up to -1 , and the sun is trying to peek through the fog. I had a great weekend and have the week off work, yippee! Hope Monday is easy on you all.
