Army thread Wednesday 8 January
Good morning from the other side of the Irish Sea.
Been up since 7 I think the secret to a good nights sleep is still a state secret.
However, for me like Molly it has to be a good habit of staying awake until after 10 and then getting up at a reasonable time

My way of getting into routine for sleep was,no matter what time i went asleep at,and in the beginning of this journey sometimes i did not get much sleep at all.I would get up and go out for 8, just get up,go for a walk, that worked for me...Alcohol free since 13th January 2009

Morning Mario, Anon-a-whizz, Sweetiepeapie
Sun is out for a change! Garden to soggy to work, though.
Ayurveda says to go to bed at 11 - tried that for a while and it really worked for me, but the moment you break that pattern all bets are off. Would love to get back to a routine of going to bed at a set hour every night, but life doesn't always want to play along.
Haven't even read back on last night natter:blush: so still don't know JC's news.
Later!14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

I hate this broken sleep but hopefully it will get better soon. Apart from that i'm good.As the others said Foxy - you need to TRAIN your body into sleep pattern. Don't go back to sleep today & try itYour body is waking up 'cos it knows "hey sure she'll let me sleep later - I want to wake up now at 3am"

Never ate sugar in any way all my adult life --- it sort of repulsed me --- but about 6 months into this quit a real craving for sugar happened --- and I just kept picking even after the craving stopped --- so it's just trying to revert to my factory settings really ---- prolly won't last - but just a few days off and it'll break the cycle a bit I hope!
Ah -- give it a chance Foxy --- that was another thing that just 'clicked' after about 6 months --- the joys of a solid 7-8 hours sleep! Never do I take that for granted!
:h my sleep - after years of the 'bad sleep -wine to sleep - wake early - more wine' circle.
The'ol hormones associated with menopause didn't help the whole thing.
Got bags on face Foxy that didn't go away - so even for only that reason - take the advice
