Back home from a lovely night in a lovely place. A restaurant with rooms it was a gift from 2 friends. Fabulous food and drink (lemon and ginger!)

Evening army the rain and wind have eased off this evening but its cold. I had a long nana nap this afternoon I cudn't keep my eyes open watchin tv and I was up early so needed a wee nap. Sounds like you had a lovely time in Wales Mrs A nice to get a gift like that. Nice afternoon for you too Dreamy at the braai nice to get out Sunday afternoon. Just havin a coffee now while dinner is cooking.:cupajoe:

Very late check in tonight.
Had the most lovely surprise late this afternoon. Mr JC's pal and his missus popped in. We haven't seen them in yonks. It was just wunnerful catching up. He was Mr JC's best man and is our Jenz godfather.

Love Brideshead, book and tv series and omg Jeremy! That voice would make you melt. The blah thoughts were fleeting, they annoyed me but made me angry at AL. Anger can be good

Good evening folks,

Sorry haven't got checking in with yis- been all work and no play for this lassie

Haven't been in the best of form tbh- just over-whelmed by everything and anything that crosses me path. Feeling uber strung-out, irritable, edgy, down and so on....very much like I was a few years back when panic attacks first struck. Didn't have the patience to sit a lappie and read here even- everything just felt like too much. Very happy and proud to report that taking the booze option has not appealed one teensy bit- it's just not an option anymore.

Soooo, I just gotta find a new way of dealing with me crap and putting it all into perspective. It's difficult tho, cause when I'm in the thick of the anxiety and panic it really does feel like the end of the world and the smallest things freak me out, like someone taking too long to take off at the traffic lights, or getting in my way out shopping, or just being there in front of me!! Just felt like screaming to all and sundry would yis all feck away off, like NOW!! Didn't do that btw or am sure wouldn't have any fingers fit to be typing now.

Needed to take a huge chill-pill!! And that's what Ive done- am back on the beta-blockers for now with the odd diazepam just to take the edge off. Starting to read me books again from the time me panic attacks started. I will get there...I will

Hope ye all are well and had nice weekends? Will hafta do a read back. Did I miss anything?!

No they were just back from being fed by his Ma.
I was in my jammies with my Christmas kaftan ready for my nanna nap. Known them both too long to get embarrassed.

Took me time but am getting there Feel so stupid now for letting myself go down that route again. Letting fear and anxiety get a hold on me, but when am in that state it's so hard to get outa it. Still not outa the woods but can see some light again :yay:

Evening sweetie sorry to hear you are going tru a rough time but you doing all the right stuff and i'm sure you will be right as rain. soon. :l I get days like that too where every little thing is irriating and annoying traffic some one in a queue noisy kids on buses etc. I try and distract myself and try to remain calm i'm the type to lash out or shout in public lol. I have on ant depressions for a few years now and they have helped I would be in a worse state if I didn't take one daily. They are not addictive but you need to cut them down to stop taking them. When I clock up some more sober time I may consider quitting as I don't want to be meds for life unless health requires it. Have a quiet relaxing evening and enjoy a god read or film. Tv ain't so good here tonight but I have a library book I started called my cleaner by Maggie Gee.

sweetpea I know a bit about anxiety and panic, especially from this last year. Big hugs to you, it's a terrible thing to deal with. I'd recommend CBT, I really would. It helps to have some tools to fall back on.

I'm off to bed now, night all. :l
