Yeah, and last night was the worst ever. Inflicting bodily harm on a person is very much a no-no. I was livid. I didn't know whether to knock his block off or call 911. I actually THREW the phone away from me so I wouldn't have him carted off in the paddy wagon.fennel;1686924 wrote: I hear you, Zen...but when he goes off the deep end, he's horrible!

He damaged my wood floor and broke some incidental stuff also... I'm pissed about the floor.

If it happens again it's curtains and I don't care if he's loading his shit into his car in the rain.

He's big too... 6'2" and about 220. Not something one wants to deal with.

I'm in and out here... sorry it took me so long to get to your post Nursie... I hope everything is OK with your pal. Let us know how it panned out. I have a feeling (from having done what she was doing last night MANY times) that she tied one on good and proper and went out for the count.

Damn... it's something this alcohol. Impacting us left, right and centre. They should have kept the prohibition I think.

Let us know how things are with her... :l

That was GREAT! I think I better pull that movie out for another watch.fennel;1686893 wrote: Nora, some of my favorite scenes were between Jack Lemmon's character (Josephine) and Osgood Fielding the 3rd.!!! Zen - my very dear friend....:l:l I think you are giving him so many chances because of your own history with the alcohol. Yes - we've all been there. But, WE are working to not be there again. You do not deserve this. This is NOT ok. You be sure to take care of you, sweetie. And call 911 if he ever starts anything again. :h"Only I can change my life. Here's some comedy relief. A scene from "Some Like It Hot" featuring my two favorite characters from the movie...

 Hi All,

Zen, what we all need when we're 50 and above (I think that's most of us here) is drama free, no bullshit living. The drunken escapades of others are baggage none of us need to spend time on when all we want is peace! Your call is the right call.2023 - focus, getting it done, and living the way it should be and being the person I need to be.
