    Oh my heavens Zen!! What a great great post. I am simply so happy for you!! :l how nourishing for your soul and I'm glad Jim is with you. I didn't real use he was coming as well.
    Can you post a pic of ' The Wee' ?? Would love to see her! :l:l

    Have only read back this page- super tired again...but will say my first concert was Bruce Springsteen and I paid 5 dollars for my ticket... He rocked the house for almost four hours.... Those were the days...

        Just got off the phone with my brother. He called to make sure Casey got off ok. But, he wanted to talk to me about Mom. She's not doing well. Been dizzy, weak all this week. He just said that he thinks I probably want to go up there sooner than later. I had been thinking about going up in November. So, I will be moving that up sooner, of course. I knew that she hadn't been sounding good on the phone. He just doesn't know what to tell me. There's nothing specific but she is going downhill. I said it was hard to believe how much worse she is in the 3-1/2 months since I saw her. He said that it started after she fell and then she fell a couple weeks after that. He said it's hard to be there & watch (the deterioration) but it's also hard not being there to watch it (meaning that he knows it's hard for me not being there).
        Thanks for lending me your ears & shoulders to cry on........I'm sure I'll be needing them again. :h

              It happened to me once. I was convinced a Bird had found its way in there !!!!
              Yes it's baffle packing material.
              i agree as well it's the packing from the silencer, but watch if it all comes out you will have to buy a new silencer box as it will become noisy and affect your emmisions
              The other thing that can happen is, and it happened to me is, The silencer packing can block the exhaust and the engine will stop running.
              I took the long bonnet stay off and pocked it in the exhaust and it cleared it, the car ran perfectly after that without getting a new exhaust !

                  Great news that you finally got done with the house dottie!

                  Sorry you had to put up with so much abuse beloved mrs bear, you really shouldn't have to, but some people have no consideration at all. It's good to hear that the antibiotics are working.

                  Nora, I'm sorry about the situation with your mum. Wish there was something more I could do or say. It's good that your son is going to see her. Hope your therapist appointment goes well today. Thank you for taking the trouble to google my exhaust problem! I also did a little search after posting about it and can see that a visit to the car doctor next week is in order. :upset:

                  Sunny, I have a long-haired border collie (in case you hadn't already heard!) and they have a similar coat to shelties. She gets brushed vigorously every day, but it's more than my life is worth to try and give her a bath, so I need to find someone who's willing to take that on. Can't really help you over the ipad I'm afraid, not owning one. Glad you had a laugh at the stuff growing out of my exhaust, there definitely is a funny side to it!

                  Lav, I'm glad you've found MWO to be a help. It's so important to be able to talk about things rather than keeping them bottled up inside.

                  Zenny, that's very good news that your mum is doing so well. It sounds as though you really enjoyed yourself visiting the little one and her parents. I'm glad you're happy being back home again.

                      Nora so sorry about you're mom. It happened just that way with my father in law. Sounds like your brother is taking good care of her.

                      Nursie, a baby Nursie? How exciting. I still have dreams where I'm pregnant, (more like nightmares). Which ever way it turns out I hope your happy.

                          Morning lovelies,
                          Hold the phone! I'm not preggers! At least I don't think so! I guess I will find out in a week or so for sure. It would certainly be a welcome blessing if we were, as we have been talking about it for awhile.
                          I think I'm just grouchy for the regular reasons though! Work, stress, house, etc.
                          I'm off to take my little one to the dentist and then school shopping for first grade!
                          Let's hope he behaves!!

                              Morning all! Ok, it's 2:30pm here but I got going late.

                              You guys are reminding me the my dog could probably use a bath. He's a big ol' black lab/coon hound mix. Though the hound only comes through in how often he "talks." That's a pick a warm day and turn on the hose project though, he'll love it and I'll get soaked I'm sure.

                              It's always funny to me - I grew up with cats and still consider myself a cat person. My first dog was the lab mix I adopted before this one, I just woke up with this feeling that I should go to the shelter and think about getting a dog. (I didn't go in blind, I actually worked at a pet food store and had been reading up a lot about dogs and how to care for them.) Anyway, he melted my heart and a few months later I went through one of the roughest periods of my life. Don't know what I would have done without him.
                              I am stubborn as a pig - but changing what I'm being stubborn about!
