I'm shabby chic'ing it. That doesn't look right. I have a cheap pine wardrobe that goes with it but it's too big to move so I'll have to think about how to do it.

its a wardrobe and chest of drawers set that husband bought before i knew him. varnished pine. brother brought chest downstairs but the wardrobe i think i will have to do in situ. its a take upstairs once, bring down once lump. cant leave it unpainted now, it will look out of place.

id like it probably. what i have is mfi type. not quite self assembly, but next step up. so im not worried bout ruining it.

why dont you sell it if you hate it that much?

Indeed.............does any one actually eat liquor chocolates apart from 12 years thinking they'll get hammered.

I can remember eons ago trying to buy a Christmas pud without alcohol for my Dad (he was an alkie too) and asked an assistant for help............she handed me one and said..............this one's only got cider in...... will that do.......errrrrrr no.
