no WAY was that aimed at you my lovely wunnerful man!!!!! truly genuinely --- the people that get my goat are the ones who've NEVER EVER been to a meeting and use the get out clause 'oh AA is not for me' --- shouldn't be slagged off until it's been tried imo --- and re. the higher power --- I have NO higher power --- and I'm a total aetheist --- but I have NO problem with any of that --- 'take what you need and leave the rest' --- that's what I was told and that's what I did....

i believe use what works yes, but i also believe in knowing what that might be. im the same as tabs when he said being in a hall full of strangers would be impossible for me. i would actually panic and want to escape, i would feel cornered. MWO has so far been what is working for me.

Nope. It slightly terrified me cos I thought it was the only game in town - prob for the same reasons as Tabbers and Satz. I can hold court fine in a small group of friends, but put me on front of a group of people and I start to have out of body experiences!

Im hoping MWO will be enough, if its ok to intrude here! You all seem terribly 'normal'

Me too on the hall of strangers- but I would go maybe if someone I knew was going.
But a bit like Weightwatchers -everyone in the same boat & I've done that.
It's the stigma we're talking about here - it's ok to be fat.
