. It was just something to do to knock me out. Not a good way to live.

Nora - that is EXACTLY how I felt about it.
But believe me I am so much more relaxed and sleep better without it.
It does not relax us - quite the opposite in fact.
Concentrate on how good you are feeling each day. It's amazing how the small things suddenly start to become enjoyable again.
So what if you need a ton of chocolate in the first few weeks.

Really wise words re declaring your escape plan as for me it showed my commitment more to myself do realise that now. Though I used to get a little buzz from outwitting Mr A. Life is so much easier without the grog, the cheating, the lies,the guilt and the hangovers!

Completely agree here MrsA. The detailed planning when i think about it is bonkers. Position of bottles in trolly (in case I meet anyone), position of bottles on checkout (in case I meet anyone and so that they can go to the bottom of the bag), carrying from car to house.. How many to hide.. when do I need to restock. What do I need to do later.. when can I start, what am I allowing myself. Need to be good. Will be good tomorrow.
Flipping exhausting.

Thanks Tabbers! You know we're working the program hard. Another AF day and night for me yesterday. On my way to cooler weather but trip got delayed due to dental problems hubby experienced yesterday. When I got in my car is was 122 degrees in there! Finally for some cool CA dreaming weather.

My car would probably blow up if it ever reached that number! or melt. weather Ireland: Tonight will be dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 8 or 9 degrees with light variable breezes.
