Happy November everyone. Just got back late last night from a mountain getaway in Georgia to see the autumn colors. It was unseasonably warm, but pleasant at night.

Had to make the obligatory food stop at Mary Mac's Tea Room for southern/soul food in Midtown Atlanta as well as the Carter Presidential Center and Library. The museum there is wonderful. I had a little less than two hours to go through it, so the last part was a little rushed. I'll have to go back there when I have more time.
Hit the ground running this morning. Off to work in about 30 minutes, but had an appointment with the GP for blood pressure and cholesterol medication refills and also went to get poked with a needle for my twice-yearly blood workup. Have a great day everyone.Last edited by aihfl; November 1, 2016, 11:57 AM.First, a man takes a drink, then the drink takes a drink, then the drink takes the man. --Chinese proverb

You got got this, AG.
Thanks for the photos Aihfl. They help remind me why I need to be sober, so I can go out in the world to experience life, not sitting in a chair half coherent. When I'm drinking, I couldn't be bothered to walk the dog, much less take a hike in nature. I'd rather live, than just exist.

Yes Mr. V. I can relate to the bad old days when I would be passed out on the couch in front of the TV for days on end and there would be dog poop all over the floor because I was either unconscious or unable to be bothered to take her out.First, a man takes a drink, then the drink takes a drink, then the drink takes the man. --Chinese proverb

Hey guys. Not much going on around here. Went to church tonight to get ready for the garage/yard sale this weekend. A lot of work, but also a lot of fun.
So did I mention hubby and I are going on a cruise next week? Started packing for that.
Hope everyone is doing ok.

AG day 2, sadly I'm right there with you. Hope band reheresal went well. I miss the days of driving the kids.
Nora we will be gone 10 days. That just adds to my stress. I'll be fine once I'm there but getting ready is always hard for me hence the slip up.
So little Lucy injured herself yesterday chasing a squirrel and then a chipmunk. She is limping, poor little thing. This may require a visit to the vet at some point. She has bad knees and I'm hoping that's not it.
Nora, thank you for being there for me yesterday!:heartbeat:
