Busy working all weekend and Monday, and didn't check in. took me hours to read back through everything here on MWO.
30 years for Mrs V and I yesterday! woot.
Pauly, so sorry to hear of the drama in FL. Hope she can get away.
Now gotta go fight the grocery store on the day before Thanksgiving. ugh

So sweet that Mark would give you a BIG hug because you are not drinking!! Family support is so important for our recovery. It means WAY more than people realize! The grip of addiction is horrific...like a magnet from which we cannot escape, and we are REALLY, TRULY trying to escape, we need positive re-enforcement, encouragement, and yes, congratulations!! So here is yours, sweetheart!! I am delighted that you did not drink on your cruise and that your husband was so supportive!

Actually I was talking to a guy at work today. He knew that I liked to drink. He was telling me about their mimosa's all planned for tomorrow. I told him that I used to really like those. He said - oh you're still on the wagon. I told him that it's been over a year now. I'm getting more comfortable with sharing that information.

Well - I'm restless. Think I'll find something to do. Maybe pull out my coloring book. Have a great night all. :hug:

Been busy with thanksgiving day prep since I got home from work. I am exhausted and I am not even hosting. We will be at my sisters tomorrow. She is having around thirty people, both sides of the family!

Went to the doctor today and was telling her about the drinking, she said to try naltrexone cuz I only feel like drinking sometimes, gonna peruse what's left of the meds section and see what's up,Google only has a limited bit of info,Michelle and her boyfriend are"working it out" I'm so done with the situation! hope everyone is enjoying their night

Mr.V I loved the picture...hahah! Thanks! I have the best sister in the world...I LOVE going to her house for any occasion...the food is always fantastic....they always have at least two of their four fireplaces stoked and I always have one of their dogs either in my lap or putting her chin on my knee (the yellow lab). Too bad you have such a long drive. :-(

Pauly-give Naltrexone a shot but take it with food...hearty appetizers about 4:30 PM...after work...worked for me.

Nora-so glad you find comfort in coloring. One of my clients said coloring saved her from losing her mind after her husband retired and her daughter was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I have never seen "Finding Nemo" but now I must rent it.
