Been going through old paperwork decluttering, its fascinating. I have found stuff from the 1970s and 80s and among it I found an earing that I made out of Richs hair when we were about 18 :egad: he had really long hair and I cut off a bit and platted it into a really long earing with beads interwoven in it. Couldnt believe I still had it. Also found my childhood doggies vaccination cert from 1972

Ahh we're still pagans over here.

I have a guilty secret to tell you................for the last week or so I have been sneaking off to watch the World's Strongest Man and enjoyed every minute of it.

Now then there's a whole chocolate roulade, half a lemon cheese cake, 60 mini eclairs left, a great lump of Brie, half a bag of cheesy bites and some crackers. Do help yourself I'm a bit full.

Starty - I'm laughing over here and can't stop. I'm also going thru piles. I found a regular business size window envelope with little curls of hair. Did I just save some from every hair cut that my son had? I know I have his first hair cut put away. This is the second other batch I've found. Maybe I should have made earrings. :harhar:

I remember well.
I had long hair and I thought a fly or something was on my head - I bashed it down - it was chewing gum. :egad:
Someone dropped it on my head..... bastards.

Had to cut the lump of hair off.
The chewing gum is still attached.
Maybe DNA will identify the UnSub ( watching Criminal Minds) :haha:

Lol... I member gum in hair as a kid. Oh, Gawd, they use to use lighter fluid to help remove. Current had 6-8" off my lovely locks cut (recent). laugh or cry.. I'm cooler at night.

Christmas chez Sylv is back in the cellar where it belongs and the house is relatively tidy - apart from the kitchen, looks like a grenade went off in there as himself cooked a fantastic dinner for me and the friends who came. He claims he will clean it all up, I plan on retiring to bed in the hope he does

I keep a photo on my phone as a reminder of what our friend Al does for me, the two black eyes, bruised cheeks and broken nose are bad enough but there is also the absolute despair on my face, which I didn't see until relatively recently. Its not a picture I'm proud of but one I will show to anybody stupid enough to suggest that one drink won't hurt ...
