Late here as usual.. busy few days ahead now with school stuff and communions -not ours, but Im on cake duty - not complaining, i love it.
A particularly boozy Saturday planned (for some).. bring it on - I will NOT be the slurry sloppy one trying to sneak in a refill between 'normal' top ups - Then home to get tanked in peace.. No beer showers here MrV.
Didnt realise Jenny was planning to teach, thats fantastic JC. Does she have to do a teaching qualification or does she have that already?
Molly, did your daughter do the h dip recently too?

[MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION].......yep after years of dithering..........that sounds awful as it wasn't really dithering it was more of a case of low self esteem .........she didn't think she had it in her. After a good kick up the backside from her godmother (whom she adores) and a lot of support from me and her dad.........she's finally bitten the bullet. She's been doing a fair bit of tutoring lately ( she does Chemistry, Biology and Physics) and getting some good feedback..........she'll need a teaching qualification..........so fingers crossed she's accepted for Sept 2017.

Evening,
Got in the house just 5 minutes before the skies opened............still it saves Mr JC running wild with his hose pipe.

Had the most amazing phone call from a girl I was at junior school with...had vague and infrequent contact for a few years Haven't seen her in nigh on 40 years she's up in the North East from Cornwall for a wedding and we're meeting next Friday....

She popped up on FB and we became friends........honestly it was like we talked yesterday.

Feels like I've ben MIA for a few days but no dramas here - just so VERY busy with work - which is all good. Trying to make myself make a certain amount of time every day (even if only calculated in minutes) to be here as I really value this site and this thread in my quit.

I'll try to have a good read back tomorrow when I should get some time to myself - it's bound to rain, mind, as I've arranged to borrow a more powerful mower than mine to do the first cut of the season - I remember when that was in March when I lived in England - First cut in May!!! That's the Highlands for you!
