But MAYBE DRY was the read that got them over the line back then, or kept them on the right side of it.. Will have a google of High Sobriety too.

Wave to the G man.. morning to you.

Just popped in to say night night.

When I worked in the wine merchants I recognised some of the wine importers.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Morning all, up nice and early to enjoy another sober day in the sun. Life seems to be sunnier now I have escaped the madness, even on the dullest of days. Nice.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

                Morning all
Took me 4 days to recover from a holiday.
Reminds me of years ago when it also took that time and longer to recover - for a different reason :confusion: - Horrible memories !

Off to Dad's anniversary Mass today.
This is year 36 of this annual pilgrimage for the 6 of us, our children and now extended to grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
unfortunately, Mother has asked 5 times a day for the past week what day it's on and what time 10 times a day.

                      Morning Satz.

What the feck is the point of these stupid fecking weekend hen and stag parties..............most have lived with their partners beforehand. The son and heir's last one was in Hamburg of all places. A girl I worked with had a week long one in Ibiza..........go back to the old days a few pints, curry then tie the groom to a lamp post with his pants on his head.............cheaper and quicker.
                      Off my soap box now.

Afternoon, welcome home Satz.. Did you mam enjoy the trip? Probably not terribly relaxing for you..

With you there JC. I hate hen/stags. Never liked them, even when I was getting hammered with everyone else. Maybe Id like them better now sober..
I also hate nights out where the music is so loud your lip reading a fake conversation with someone you happened to sit beside and therefore stuck with for the next 4 hours. WHERE DO YOU LIVE, DO YOU WORK, REALLY, THATS AMAZING, I KNOW I KNOW, THE FOOD IS GREAT, FANTASTIC, EXCUSE ME LOO AGAIN.... Vs comfy sofa, house of cards (season 5 yay), packet of crisps and the fire on.

                          All packed Molls??

Afternoon ladies, your conversations on Stags reminds me off my own, can you believe I didn't drink but 2 beers on my own stag?
I was so f****d from the session the night before that I was like death warmed up, cringe, no make that a double cringe.

So just back from big Tesco shop which has a separate off licence at the entrance, a regular haunt for me but a few short months ago. I walked past it without even a second glance but then realising I had done so thought to myself how utterly grateful I am to have escaped that madness.

Afternoon. Welcome back Satz. With you all there re stags/hens and loud music. Started House of Cards, really enjoying. My daughter recommended another one, Designated Survivor, only watched first episode but seems interesting. Off out to the garden, just did airport drop off.

I'll have you know in some of the larger Tescos over here, they have them in the foreign food aisle. Honest.
