Holiday 2018 - Greece
Long story short - it rained for about 7 of the 14 days. The other days were cloudy.
Storms , hailstones , winds & torrential ( can't go out ) rain.

SIL was pissed every night but said she was illl to her family. She had cancer in her blood YEARS ago.
She uses this outrageously to get attention & ensure no -one will confront her drinking.
My arse - she had a cough right enough - but must have told hubby she was dying - he did not reprimand her continuously as he usually does :haha:
I think she's at last getting hangovers.
Best ever was the day we were coming home...... I met her hubby getting off plane and he said poor SIL was very sick on plane......
FFS! she was drinking beer at 11.30, wine with her lunch , swigs of brandy in the apartment as we got our case & whiskey at airport.

Sorry love - can't kid a kidder :haha: ( or can't kid a fellow alky)

She was retching - the alcohol was wearing off on the 3 hour plane journey - not sure if she had more while he slept opposite her.
I know ALL this 'cos I know all the tricks & did the same myself.

That sounds like withdrawal to me........and while mild withdrawal is uncomfortable.........that's basically a hangover and fierce thirst.............looks like she needs to seek help.........proper help.

He's off with the scouts this weekend, locked the keys in the car and Ive had to do a 3.5 hour round trip with the spare Terrible sense of direction, so I had the car sat nav and google maps on my phone, both contradicting each other, then the phone dies, so that was the end of her, but the other one is sending me off down these dirt track roads...
I was fit to kill when I got there, but they were all cheering and clapping, so I had to bite my tongue! really hard.

That sounds like a nightmare Mary! I would be calling in a few favours after that debacle :egad:
