Same here on the medical records. Although at the time ..........and I've said this many times.......I'd have shown my bare behind in M&S's window every day to stay sober.

Yep, that was me. I think I remember you too. I've been in and out for nine years (just not in the good wayOriginally posted by RunningCourage View PostMorning troopers.

Really good hearing stories/memories of what it was like for individuals on the AL front. Bridge, good to have you here sharing. I think I mind you from when I was first here, about 5 year ago... ? ) )
I love the sound of that run...except for the running part.Last edited by byebyebridgetjones; July 11, 2018, 03:59 AM.If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

 Re: July Army Manoeuvres

Its only an hour and a half long so its going to be a bit of a squeeze to get it all in. Blink and you've missed a couple of centuries. We'll get his Ma the DVD..........give her a rest from Michael Palin's railway journies.

The best thing about our M&S is the young busker outside who can do some really good AC/DC. and Black Sabbath and he's ever so slightly grubby :heartbeat:Last edited by JackieClaire; July 11, 2018, 05:22 AM.It could be worse, I could be filing.

 Good morning Troopers!!

A late check-in from me. Work a little bit hectic to say the least. Geez, I need a vacation but it's not gonna happen for at least a month.

Great job Bridget. As you know, the more AF days you've racked up, the easier it gets!!

Um, it would have to be a giant watering can, JC.Originally posted by JackieClaire View PostMolly your Jilly's done so well. You've got a strong young woman there.

Jenny's got her timetable for the nest school year and it includes Chemistry for year 9 girls (14/15 years old) the other teachers have said they'd rather sit in a tank of vipers than teach that age.

Can you use a watering can if there's a hose-pipe ban???
Yep, two determined young woman - great to see it! And our very own RC, a teacher as well. Can't be one and be a sissie, like Jackie said earlier. My mom worked for years as a secretary in a public school. Madness is what it was!!
As for Jenny - 14/15 year old girls? God help her. Seriously, I don't think you could have a worse age than that. And I'd prefer boys to girls at that age. Best of luck to her, that's all I can say. I guess her years of working will have toughened her up a fair bit. We'll be waiting for reports come the new school year!!

Well, I'm back to my e-mails. Hopefully catch up with youz later. Have a great day!!!Last edited by stirly-girly; July 11, 2018, 05:41 AM.For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

It was a good game played well on both sides.

Looking forward to Sunday when we can just relax and just watch the final.

We got further than we hoped.

It was a game of two halves.

We've had marvellous weather for it.

Wearing a paper hat that was free with the newspaper didn't seem to work...........we'll have to think of something better next time.It could be worse, I could be filing.

Megan had her lunch in Dicey's Garden in Dublin today - she forgot to mention she'd been there 2 years ago - pissed - while promoting 2 Euro beers.
