Good morning Army!!!
A lovely cloudy, cooler day here in Athens. Supposed to rain - I hope so. Can't remember the last time we had rain.
As for the knitting - I knit, crochet and sew although the latter is what I do most. Love knitting but I find that as I get older, my hands don't like it so much! First grandbaby got a knitted blanket, the next two got sewn quilts! I have to admit that I didn't know there was a "continental" way to knit. I knit "English" style, holding the right needle like a pencil and just flicking the yarn over the other needle with my forefinger. Cannot imagine tho' trying to knit left-handed!! They have some of the most gorgeous yarns here. OMG, if my hands didn't give me a hard time, I would knit sweater after sweater! Love making things with my hands. I will post the light fixtures and sofa tables that I made after I moved into my apartment last year. I got such satisfaction out of creating them. Have the wood for a small side table but haven't as yet gotten around to making it. Did get back into sewing this summer - a couple of long dresses, a couple of tops and a bolero. So much fun to take a flat piece of fabric and make an article of clothing out of it. I would love to potter in the garden too but the mosquitoes won't allow me into their territory. Little buggers.
Starty - so glad to hear about your hip. You must feel like you've been reborn.
Molls, hope you are feeling better soon. Hate colds!!
Got a huge laugh out of youngest grandkid yesterday. We were sitting at the table and he could see the TV in the living room. Suddenly he says, in Greek of course, - "Mother of God - there's a big shark!!". He's not yet 3. Damn near fell off my chair laughing!!!
Back to the filing. Hope you all have a great day. Catch up again sooooooon!!

. I'm fascinated with people who have that sort of patience. Used to end up in tears when Mum made me sew. I've inherited her sewing machine now but still not mature enough.
