Thanks Beni, yep bang on. Happy man I am. The way I see it I am not denying myself anything worth having, on the contrary I am giving myself a great gift, a sober life being lived.Originally posted by satz123 View PostEthanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Way to go and welcome to MWO Rknrobin13!Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Robin - welcome to MWO and huge congratulations on over 10 days sober! There is lots of support and information here and we love to have "Newbies". It's nice to set small goals in the beginning. You've gotten through 10 days, next is 2 weeks, then 20 days, and so on. Personally, it gave me a great feeling of satisfaction to see those sober days piling up and see the number getting bigger and bigger. I wish you every success and hope you stick around at MWO. Don't know what part of the world you are in but there is always someone here if you have questions or need support. Best of luck!!!Originally posted by Rknrobin13 View PostI had my last drink Jan 2nd. This is the longest I’ve gone in 20 years!
