    NYT Spelling Bee? Wordle?

Anyone else obsessed with it? And Wordle, of course.

My wife and I do the NYT Wordle every morning while eating breakfast Neva.
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.

        Hi fellas. Thanks for responding.
abcowboy, what is your start word? mine is stare, despite the fact that the NYT Wordle bot says it should be stale. “R” is more prevalent than “L”, right? I still get frustrated tho…
@techie, doesn’t surprise me at all that you do the Sunday crossword. Fun fact, though, according to the editor, Saturday is the hardest day. I don’t get past Wednesday. Another random fact, you recommended a book seven thousand years ago, chrymonium? My books are packed, and I know that’s not the right name. Pretty popular author for peeps who have too much smarts. lol Or at the very least I love to read almost all things. It was a challenging book. But I bought it, read it, and kept it, because of you.

love you both for all you contribute. Wish I knew you in person,

You are very sweet, Ne. BTW, Stephenson us a very complex writer. His niche is speculative fiction which I really like!

That’s the one! I like speculative fiction, too. As a tertiary obsession. But what I remember about that book is that it was… difficult. I just read the Wikipedia on it, and about Neal Stephenson. I’m going to have to read Cryotonomicon again, given that I actually have a reference in terms of cryptocurrency. (And perhaps I’ll read up on Sumerian mythology, whatever that is, befor I tackle any of his books.) What’s confusing is that the name is so familiar, but I don’t think I’ve read any of his other works. Must be that he’s famous in some other obscure, or extremely popular, way. Like a kardashian.

We have a few starter words Neva, but usually use "steam".

Just finished a long post about books and now we're talking about them in here as well! I just recently finished Anathem by Stephenson (had read Snowcrash a long time ago), a bit slow with lot's of science and philosophy worked in, but I really liked it. I was actually just contemplating starting Quicksilver / Baroque Cycle, have you read that one and what did you think?

I have read all of Stephenson’s book. Quicksilver was my favorite of the three. I read it around 2005-6

                      Re: NYT Spelling Bee? Wordle?

Help me out. Spelling Bee is a different kind of word game. There are seven letters and every word has to use the main letter.

                      Today's letters: Gmiaknc

Every word has to include the letter G, and every word has to be four letters or more. The letters can be in any order, and can be used multiple times, but have to use the main letter. In this case, a G.

Today I couldn't find the word that includes all the letters. MACKING apparently isn't a word, but should be. MAGICKING also isn't a word, which I know, but I can't figure out the all-inclusive word.

By the time you've read this and I've woken up, the answer will be published. But I'm gonna keep on posting when my wellness is threatened because I can't figure out the damn word. Or not. We'll see.

Okay, I don't want to do books here, there and everywhere, but I read Anathem as well. And sadly, given the ill-advised book purge, I don't have either of those to refer to anymore.
