morning nesters,
quick check in, never seems to be enough hours in the day now i have a fancy title. should have realised i would get more work also.
starting to cool down in the mornings now, even had to find my slippers and dressing gown. Its been a funny summer.
Kensho i had a gall bladder attack years and years ago and it was awful. i think now i am the healthiest i have ever been. I think getting older does that. I am doing keto atm and the cream upsets my gut but otherwise am loving it and even cooking as for some reason i have a real sweet tooth!
Nar, wow 154 days in 2014, how time flies. i remember thinking i was going to drink on my 50th birthday in the April and i didnt thankfully. Anyone can stop drinking if they have the right tools and support. God if we all can, anyone can. One day at a time.
Going to see my son this weekend. we had a snap 5 day lockdown to stop the cases that were starting and that seemed to do the trick.
my niece had her baby the other day, 10 weeks premmie but came out crying and 1.26kgs. a long way to go but fingers crossed. now i am a great aunty and going to be a nana, 2021 is going to be such a good year. Will go and visit the new family when bubs comes home from hospital. talked to my daughter and we will drive just in case any borders are closed and we cant get home. might even talke my mum if she behaves though she seems to have gotten over her latest behaviour at the moment.
The vaccine came out here on Monday, not sure when i will get it but think i am Category 2.
I've started op shopping for baby clothes, told my son i will just put everything in storage containers, he is shaking his head at me but i am sooooooo excited
We had so many months in lockdown last year that i think everyone is wary about any cases that we have now. still mask wearing and social distancing and i cant see myself going back to work full time at all. i am trying to go into our sister hospital on a Tuesday and am quite liking the socialising aspect, not liking the peak hour traffic aspect.
started using my skin cancer cream to get rid of some sunspots last night, should be looking real pretty in a few days.
take care xx
